Having watched the match, he has a lot of drive to win. In fact, he went on overdrive to win. IMHO, it's just too bad he met BCL whose reach is obscene. You should have seen how hard he worked to retrieve shots that most (99%) of player wouldn't even bother. His effort alone more than made up for MK/HS's disappointing performance in this SO finals.
I agree, he is overdrive. He really wanted to win the title. He love playing in Singapore alot. Although he lost, but I think his determination in court won him many new fans. Sometimes things are just unpredictable. Both sides had equal abilities to win one another. Well 2nd is good enough, the fact that Boonsak haven't been on top form for the past few tournaments. He is slowly climbing up again. Boonsak susu!
He had the drive to win the rally, but not the title. I don't know, but that's what I felt during the entire game. BCL was more determined to get the title. BCL complained when he felt there was a bad line judge call. But after that, he made it sure to get the next point. BP should have taken the advantage of BCL's momentary lack of focus. However, that didn't happen. BP still allowed BCL to take control. BP was the one struggling, running all over the place to keep the rally alive. He had the determination to win the rally, but not the match itself. I don't know how to explain it. Suffice it to say that BP was not aggressive enough. That's what I felt during that time. I was at the edge of my seat because I really wanted Boonsak to win. He definitely has the talent and the skill. And I think he could beat BCL. But still, something is missing. Who knows? Maybe he'd win in his next tournament.
Haha... I do not agree with you but it's not important . In a way, Boonsak is just who he is, staying away from the judgement. IMHO, it's hard for him to beat BCL due to the extended reach -- BP's style relies on moving his opponent off position and to do that to BCL, he need to push his shots to the very far corners increasing the chance of mistakes. Now, were you in the Singapore Indoor Stadium? Could have met up with you and go for beer .
It's such a bad day for me... The worst day I think.... I'm really sad because Boonsak lost his match in against Taufik (INA).. Keep supporting Boonsak!! You can win the next Super Series... Boonsak... FIGHT! FIGHT!! FIGHT!!! My support always be with you....

thanks for the url.. haha i've read the forum from page 1.. but, i'm kind of confused with some topics..
his fans call him "man" -- does anybody know what that means? i assume it's thai, not "man" (as in male person) in english right?
Yup it's Man in English. It's a nickname the Thais gave him. They actually call him superman. Most Thai's has a nickname. You can actually add a 'P' infront if he's older than you. P'man!
