True. But BAM can be very 'persuasive'. Hope ZZ can prove that non-national badminton players can make it without BAM, that is if BAM wouldn't try to jeopardize his chances to play overseas, like they did with Gan Teik Chai/Tan Bin Shen.

This morning my dear dad has new BAM victim to his tirade, general manager Mr. Kenny Goh. I swear our dining area is becoming a kopitiam. Now my auntie is joining the lets-blame-BAM discussion since she visiting/staying at our house for a week now. She doesn't even play badminton...

It is very interesting to follow.. It is probably good with more sponsors like in Penang etc. that compete to help players.

Yup, Viktor start in the competition is quite shaky though. I guess its just normal. And ZZ's confidence has been good so far.. However, i hope he doesn't underestimate other player though. Take 1 match at a time before thinking of wanting to meet VA..

Yes, reaching at least the semi final should be no problem for them based on paper.

Zulfadli faces a tough opponent and familiar face in the SF, Momota Kento. He defeated Kento in the semi-finals of the AJC back then. However, Kento seems to be playing very well here. Let's see what Zulfadli can pull off in order to attempt to win a ticket to the finals. This is the sternest test yet for him.

Viktor Axelsen meanwhile faces Verma Sameer, the AJC runner-up to Zulfadli. He is expected to defeat Verma convincingly.

Nope, Verma Sourabh is Sameer's brother ;)
But Sameer is a good one. Hope he upsets Viktor although it is almost impossible, haha. But I would be satisfied as long as Zul reaches the final...
