Almost no hope for INA. Now INA MD trailing 3-11. Sigh, INA now not only left from CHN, MAS, KOR, but also from HKG, IND, and THA. PBSI must do something...
THA should be seeded 2 or 3 with Porntip, Tanongsak in the team. Unluckly they were placed same group with CHN
Thanks Sandy. I just checked last years Team Event , 2007 : 1) China 2) Korea 3) Spore 4) Msia 5) Japan 6) Indonesia 7) Thailand 8) India 9) England 10) Scotland 11) Bulgaria 12) New Zealand 13) Holland 14) Hong Kong This year, India has improved a lot, esp with Saina on board. And Spore lost 2 youngsters (as posted in the Prof Players thread).....
This is worse than last year's outing, rite? If I'm not mistaken, INA was in 6th position back then...
wow china totally trashed the malaysians..even in the mens doubles..i doubt malaysia will get a world junior title this year
INA will meet HKG tomorrow, likely 7th position is best result for INA junior team this time. As predicted, two strong faves CHN and KOR advance to finale, unbelievable they always face each other since 2000.
INA finished 7th as INA Junior team beat HKG 3-0 through WS (Amelia Rizki Pradipta), MS (Ari Trisnanto) and WD (Jenna Gozali/Wenny Setyawati).
The drawing of individual event will be held tomorrow (28 October) and the individual match will be started on Wednesday (29 October/08).
Iskandar Zulkarnain wasted 5 match points against Aditya. Otherwise, MAS should have sealed the victory 3-1. Anyway, well done MAS.
