Okay, so we have semi new NS, new Cab 35/25, new AS Z/8DX/5...

So either a new NS, a revival of my favorite Muscle Power system....

Or the new iteration of everyone's favorite Ti10!!!

I'm leaning towards a re-release of Ti10 old. That's get my money for sure.

I realize the Yonex racquets with the consistencies that I love, have the extra stiff shaft, isometric and leaning towards heavy head. So far, only the Arc8DX has all that. AT900P comes close. NS9900 was too light headed. Arc10 was not stiff enough. ArcZ's missing the isometric head. So if the new and upcoming models have these criterias, I'm looking forward owning another new racquet(s). Lemmings?...so be it!

It's slightly head-heavy...I was trying to think of a racket to compare it with, but remembered you saying that it would be your first racket >_>. It's just slightly head-heavy, so if you're a slightly angry person...you should be fine :p

Hey Ants... Are you talking about the ARC 100? I believe the release date is coming soon (or maybe even released at the moment). May not invest in this one because you have to buy the whole set that include the 6 racquet bag. Not too big on the limited edition of Yonex because they don't really limit the production enough to make it worthwhile....

Unless.... there is something else I don't know about...

Arc 100 LTD is NOT a new racket addition for Yonex, and it is already available in markets worldwide. Also, Arc 100 you can just buy the racket itself, no need to but the whole set (i.e the bag, the shirt, etc.)
I don't think Ants is awaiting THAT racket.....

Hopefully a new AT series will be timely. AT1000 perhaps? :D :D :D
    Can only wait.......

Ants already has Arc100, he's even selling some extras here in the forum. Besides, Arc100 is just Arc7 with new paint, right?

OK guys, I've read this thread from the beginning.

I've already had an Arc 8DX in my hand and am due to get a demo in a few weeks. It's due to arrive in UK end of March.

8DX is same head shape as Arc10. It has the same thinner head of Z Slash and also seems to mimic Z Slash in terms of length of shaft.

Whilst it feels marginally lighter than Arc10, at this stage it's difficult to gauge how it will play.

Personally, I'm hoping for the same smash benefits as Z Slash without the same mistiming issues.

I'm old enough to remember the original Carbonex 8DX. It was a major improvement on the superb Carbonex 8 with slightly slimmer shaft.

I'm going to do a written and video review on this racket so hopefully I'll have the racket in time to launch my review first week in April.

Arc 100 Special Edition is basically an Arc 7 with a paint job. And that's what Yonex have stated to me. It hasn't received any special treatment to make it superior in any way.

I also hear there is a new AT in testing. It was potentially due for launch at All Englands now but there were problems in testing and therefore it will not be released probably until Japan Open in my opinion.

Watch this space for more reviews.

Anyone who's a hard hitter, semi-aggresive, likes to jump-smash and uses a lot of wrist owes it to himself/herself to give the Arc 8DX a try. Had a blast again last night.:) You can enjoy the sport to its fullest if you have the right equipment, IMHO.

Looks like Mogensen has switched back to NS9900 for now and instead it's Lars Paaske using Arc8DX at the AE2010 ...
