How to stop Badmintoncenter from sending vast amount of emails to me??

    I am so sorry that I must stop these emails,which were sent after someone's replying to one of my threads or posts.:mad:I logged on my email today and found there were more than 100 emails in it!!!:eek:

    How can I stop this?:confused:maybe change some of my settings?:confused::eek:

    If you posted a tread anyone can reply to it and depending on the popularity of your subject matter will depend on how many reply you get. If you got 100 reply in a day it must be a very popular tread:D. If you want to stop the email ask the forum administrator to remove your tread.

    The emails were not sent in one day:shrug:I haven't logged on my email for a long time.

    Then the solutiuon is still the same get the administrator to remove the tread this email relates to if you do not want anymore email relating to it. If you just want to stop email from a single person. Then you are out of luck. You will need to tell the person to stop sending the emails if it is perceived as not appropriate or you will just need to live with it as this is a public forum. If not you can always set a filter in your email application to filter out this persons email.

    I would really just set the filter or set up a new email account. These don't take much time and are effective ways of handling the situation.

    1. User CP
    2. Edit options
    3. Messaging & notification
    4. Default Thread Subscription Mode - set to Do not subscribe or No email notification

    with this setting, it shall be no more email to you. :)

    Go to your profile page..on the right hand side..there is a tab for List of subscribed treads...click on it..
    check the box for the particular thread you dont want to recieve mail of..below the list u'll find a drop down menu for the action required on the selected thread(s)...click GO and enjoy :)
