Quickly steps to front of line to help with testing. :)

Checked and 2 more bank payments on past rackets purchases, cash in empties, and
a final check under the couch cushions and ready to green light new acquisitions .

wow that remain me to my prototype back in 2009, full woven frame with 2,4,7,10 o'clock Ti-mesh and with Ti-wire enhanced in the shaft (idea for shaft was based on AT700)

    * Wax off * :D

Isn't T1 a boxframe? Or perhaps I should have just used "muscle power frame" in the first place ;). I thought T2 was a NS9900 copy ...

    * Wax on *

    :D "MPF" ... aerobox?

    Some random updates:

An advanced player ordered a TPro, 86.5g, BP288 with ZM70 at 28lbs. He played about 30 minutes with it and said it was very good but not "great" as he had expected. He said it was a bit heavy for him. Panda lent him Panda's personal Ultra Pro, 85.0g, BP295 with ZM62 @ 28lbs. and he loved it and said the UPro felt lighter and had better defense and the shuttle exploded off the string bed (ZM62:p). So he traded the TPro for the UPro. On paper, the UPro definitely swings heavier and is harder to defend with but to each his own; everyone is different and Panda just tries to help out. :)

    ------------------------

A week ago, "Coach P" purchased an Ultra Pro and a Trinity Pro. Panda received a text message from Coach today:

"Hello, this is [Coach P's] new number. New rackets r great. Thx...
...Ur rackets reminds me of the woven 16."

    ------------------------

Another coach, "Coach D", purchased a TPro today as well. If very good, will be his go to racket.

    :)

Probably, but I do add a yonex super grap at the bottom of it so the BP will be very close. My playing BP is about 288+/- 2mm for the T-Pro

Ti-10 Gen 3 is the closest I have seen from YY.

Which BTW the shaft of it is pretty thin compared to the TPro (could be my eyes playing tricks on me, I'll measure tomorrow).
I'm guessing with a larger diameter shaft you can use slightly flexier tube and keep costs down while maintaining same stiffness as a more expensive thin tube. Do you loose much on the aero of thin vs thicker shaft (he he he).

Also what is the theoretical advantages of Ti-mesh? Is it an overlay or is it embedded into the frame?

Delivery from HK is as quick as I hoped - I'm all set for the TPro to arrive! :D Although I should've included replacement grips....aw man. That's gonna take another 10 days.....

He didn't say but both have that solid feel.

The TPro swings more like the W16. The UPro like the AT700.

Good to hear, I had been thinking about testing the W16, but decided against it in favor of one TPro more :)

The UPro has been impressing recently. This past week, had three players at different times purchase TPros; they like it but watching them clear...Panda let them try his personal UPros (thinking the UPro was better suited for them) and to everyone's surprise, all three liked the UPro better so traded. Now Panda has no more personal UPros...

...maybe they all just wanted Panda's personal racket. :p

Time to string up some more UPros for Panda...

For those who would like to get a better idea of what the frames look like on the raw carbon finish, if anyone has ever seen or can get access to the old Cab 8 with Metal frame the shafts of those are raw carbon with just the Carbonex 8 Decals...

Its a shame the only RKEP grip to come in Orange is the Power Master grip.

I rather like the look of the Yonex Super Grap in orange on my TPro. Perhaps if I order enough, Eric can make me a one-off batch of overgrips. Maybe 50? I may have to resort to Klipper grips, which are very good anyways, just more of a pain to order.

Since Panda has personally owned and played with over 500 rackets...he can adjust to about anything. Many times he even plays handicap matches with his squash racket, it's fun. :D

    Normally Panda prefers:

G5 Grip: remove original and replace with RKEP Ultimate or PowerMaster.

    For Doubles and Mixed:
    Weight: 84.0g-87.0g (usually ~85g)
    BP: 288-295 (usually ~290)

For Singles (which Panda plays once in a blue moon):
    Weight: 88-90g
    BP: 295-300

Oh yes, all three UPros were 84.5-85.0g, BP294-295.

    Grip: RKEP Ultimate replacing original.
