We are doing thing right now... ;) But as badMania said: "Rome was not build in one day"... There are still some 'forces of good' left in INA badminton society... We shall eliminate the bad practices & policies one by one [depending on the situation]... :) ...replace them with many positive and win-win-win practices & policies...

But all of this requires explanations, negotiations, etc. ...so that more and more of the oligarchy in charge [most of whom are neutral -not evil-, but beyond the direct control of the 'forces of good'] can be convinced that there are better ways of doing things. The mindset of INA badminton management has to be changed. Changing mindset is extremely difficult... :p

Zarinna Mir : Old INA badminton's story

Zarinna Mir has created big news in non badminton news, but in badminton she ever played in Malaysia tournament represent INA also played in big team Jaya Raya in local tournament.

Looking her age, I predicted she played in "Ardath Trophy" in 1988. The interesting, she allways got runner up in WS U-21, only Swa Cahayawati (Djarum Jateng) who stopped her.
Ardath Trophy was tournament for non Pelatnas players, the format in team is : Sgl U-18, Sgl U-15, Dbl U-18, Dbl U-15, Sgl-21.
(in Pelatnas already stayed, Susy, Allan, Ardy, Joko, Hermawan, Fung, Bambang, Ricky, etc as young squad).

Jaya Raya & Djarum had big rivalries since a long time ago, usually Djarum won in Single and Jaya Raya won in double. In decision match, Zarinna lost to Swa and Jaya Raya lost 2-3.

The player's line up of both team (Jaya Raya & Djarum) were great,

    Jaya Raya :
    Silvia Anggraini (16) Hendrawan's wife & Hendra Setiawan's sister
Lidya Jaelawijaya (14), Mia Audina (9 )
    Zarinna Mir (19)

    Djarum :
    Yuni Kartika (15)
Zellin Resiana (16)/The Ay Ling (16)
Kristin Yunita (13), Meiluawati (13), Chindana Hartono (12)
    Swa Cahayawati (17)

In boy's event, Djarum took the domination. They splitted the team in 2, Darum Jateng & Djarum Kudus, both team met in final. A lot of famous name in these team.
    Single
Lioe Tiong Guan (18), Yoe Liek Jang (18)
Haryanto Arbi (16), Lioe Tiong Ping (16)
    Double
Kwan You Ming (Denny Kantono), Khu Tje Jiang, Dharma Gunawi (in Germany more 10 years), Hery Haryadi, Antonius, Rudy Wijaya, Kwee Tek Ming (Rudy & Kwee play for PHI now)

One question, Hau-ge: when Megawati was president and had all the executive power at her disposal... what did she do to help INA badminton? That should be an indication whether she really cares about badminton or not...

The economy is still the priority for our country. Our unemployment + underemployment is more than 40%... :p
