Meanwhile .... while the Women's Singles match was playing, other players and coaches were plotting their strategies. CP (while warming up) : So, what's the plan for today? JFN : Oh, I will whack the shuttle flat so hard, GLY's weak knees will buckle from the pressure .... Jorgensen : Psst!! Coach, how could Pedersen and Fisher beat the Malaysians? DEN Coach : Piece of cake, man! Don't you see the Malaysian girl doesn't even have matching shoelaces .....? INA MD pair with their new training plan, walking on slippers .... with "trainer" Alvent Yulianto supervising Ayaka Takahashi : Psst! Would you volunteer as our "secret weapon?" Ayaka Takahashi : You know, if you obscure the Chinese coach's field of view like this, our opponents won't get the benefit of coaching. Teammate : Err, wouldn't this be considered, not using one's best efforts to win? Ayaka Takahashi : No, silly. It's called maximizing one's efforts ...... all this Olympic lingo had gotten u confused .....
Mixed Doubles Final ........ The heavily experienced World and Olympic bronze medallists Danish pair really planned the match well. The Malaysians, to their credit, did not fold but a late charge was not enough to prevent a Danish outcome .... Fischer's left arm proving too powerful to tame. Of course, I already had a "premonition" that this would not be the Malaysian pair's day, as soon as I saw ...... .... Goh Liu Ying's out-of-sync uniform .... But hey, I'm getting ahead of myself. Introducing ..... .... the XD Finalists .... ... and the crowd goes wild ..... .... but they were soon silenced ..... .... as the Danes take game 1. The Malaysians employed new strategy ..... ... which required additional strapping on GLY's knees ..... ..... but in the end ..... .... it's Joachim Fischer Nielsen that does the jig ..... ... and a customary victory hug.
The Olympics Bronze-Medallist Fischer-Nielsen/Pedersen have really turned into a formidable pair that Towi/Butet and any other INA pairs dread to face right now.
Yes, indeed u r rite. Just goes to show I should retire from this and you should take over ...... wakakakaka.
Thanks for the pictures! I was wondering where GC was. Am I the only one not getting any commentary on YouTube
Women's Doubles Final ...... ..... was pretty much a repeat of the, err, 2012 Olympic final. With political tensions running high between both countries, it was China vs Japan again, but with a new Japanese combination against half of the Olympic Champion pair partnering China's best looking young prospect ..... . Yup, we cannot underestimate the importance of having pretty and cute girls on tour ...... wherever they come from. The way this Japanese combination play is a refreshing change .... they don't depend too much on defence as traditional Japanese pairs do. Instead, they do take a lot of initiative. Only problem is, the Japanese wand doesn't have as much potency or accuracy ...... well not yet, anyway. And so ...... ..... here are the WD finalists ..... ....with current Olympic Champion Tian Qing .... ..... leading her good looking new partner, Bao Yixin .... ..... up against Ayaka Takahashi ..... .... in partnership with Misaki Matsutomo (on the right) .... You can't see it, but Tian Qing was doing the wiggling of hips when this picture was taken .... Ayaka Takahashi : "Wait! I need to do up my hair ..... " Bao Yixin : "The sweat is destroying my makeup. Can I ask for timeout?" Tian Qing : "Hallo!! We are in the middle of a war, ok?! The fate of the island depends on it!" JPN Coach : "Banzai!!!!!!!" Suggestive rear end pose from Matsutomo ...... CHN Coach : "Yixin, you naughty girl!! You'd better not get me in hot soup with Evil Boss Bingyi!" Tian Qing : "As soon as she serves, pounce and maul her like a Maybank tiger!" JPN Coach : "You will each be spanked for playing so badly! Bend down!!!!" High fives after the victory .......
Yes they have been testing the line call system whole week round.. I cannot say much but they have been vigoursly testing it.. BWF will have a statement about this soon i think... but i guess more testing is required
Good news. They should give the umpire a bigger screen though. Maybe the service judge should also get a screen for a second opinion or consultation.
A process will be implemented and a trial run is scheduled to be run on Surdiman cup this year at the same venue...
Men's Doubles Final ..... Two Olympic Gold Medallists clashed their racquets in anger in this tie. The 2008 Men's Doubles Champion Hendra Setiawan leads his younger partner Mohd Ahsan, in an assault at the Korean juggernault, marshalled by the 2008 Mixed Doubles Master Lee Yong Dae and his new kungfu apprentice, Ko Sung Hyun. In the end, the Indonesians forced the game at a snail's pace (by Korean standards) to win convincingly in two games ...... thus adding more misery to former All-England-winning MD Coach Kang Kyung Jin ...... Here are the MD finalists - battle of the (former) Olympic Champs .... This new Indonesian pairing, without much PAW-ed hope, ..... ..... carried the ambitions of this man and their great nation, ...... ..... and with strong support from this crowd .... .... attempts to do the improbable and beat the crap out of the Korean superstars ...... ..... which caused the opposing coach's hair, to turn white prematurely, despite being much younger than yours truly. No matter what the Korean coach did ...... ..... the INA coach was able to counter ...... .... with inch perfect execution from his players ..... .... thus ending in their deserved victory ..... ..... and brought calming relief to the man.
yes, its the same guy.. they are from a group called the famemas malaysia supporter club.. Meanwhile, there's also 3 or 4 INA supporters in the final days.. one of the supporter is a 'seasoned campaigner' which will present in every year Mas Open. In the 1st and 2nd round you can clearly heard his shouting and thumping.. But towards the Quarter, semi and final perhaps he's still shouting loudly but nowhere can be heard.. Seems like he is enjoying his life very well... no stress..
Maybe if they sell it, they think they won't have sufficient shuttlecocks for the tournament? and to continue my reply over there to here.. I was seating in a position which can see clearly the technical officials and the media.. And actually BWF is not lying.. they are actually implementing a test on the line calls... There's a laptop with clear baseline footage on the screen which I believe they are testing it.. Now i know why BWF said they are doing the test behind the scene.. And many are unaware including the player
-Maybank trying it's hardest to imitate the gigantic Djarum shuttles to no avail .....' They said its the largest and tallest shuttlecock in SEA.. Is that true? -A few more poses and closeups on the yellow fever girls ..... Where is the inside the stadium yonex sunrise lucky draw registration lucky draw and maybank girls pics?
-Now this, is the VIP area ..... by invitation only .... This is where unlimited amount of foods and drinks are served inside.. there's a place for dine in lots of food are served with buffet style.. After the finals, the championship trophy which was lifted by LCW are placed just before the dining area. Mas player's past achievements in international stage photos which taken by abedeng are hung around the hallway sparks interest from Gill Clark and the bwf senior umpire while they exit through there. On top of that, Malaysia player's rackets and shirts which are for auction are also on display before you enter the dining area.. Notable name include KKK, TBH and Goh Liu Ying.. TBH's z force racket are also auctioned at rm5000...
Georgie, you are getting so old ...... Have you forgotten the destructive giant shuttlecocks that partially destroyed the Istora Senayan during INA Premier Super Series last year?
