Training Camp in China

    Can anybody give info on where I can find training camps in China...and prices also...thanks:)

    You probably posted your query at the wrong site. At any rate, training with the best would do you much good and i presume your making badminton a career. Have you played with our local best? (National Players?) The kind of the Asuncions? I bet you knew them. Neway, hope you'll get a reply of your querry. ;)

    I wish i could help you with your querry Battledore...So u wanted your kids to be trained by the chinese? What level are they now? But if u still havent found one, y not have them trained by our local pros for a start. By the time u'l have what you wanted they're already a bit advance. Do they share your passion for the sport?

    July 12-August 12, 2007
    Canton, China

    It is not only a great experience to train with Guangzhou team, but also it will be a great experience to visit the wealthiest city in GuangZhou, China. You will learn badminton technique, strategies, and overall badminton from the professional coaches in Canton as well as Coach Lili. You will also find the value of going to China, practicing, living, and hanging out with the Canton proven badminton teammates.

    We not only work hard for badminton, but also want to have fun by visiting the attractions in the GuangZhou city. Making friends, learning Chinese culture and language, and much more.
    Why you should go there?
    Badminton is a city sport in GuangZhou. There are more than 100 badminton clubs. You will find out how popular badminton is in GuangZhou; most of the people play badminton there. GuangZhou is also the center of its political, economical, scientific, educational, and cultural life. It also has the best food. Guangzhou is a famous historical city. In ancient days, Guangzhou was the capital city for three Chinese dynasties. You cannot understand most Chinese cities deeply until you see them. This is true of Guangzhou that the most growth and wealthy city. Today, Guangzhou retains its ancient customs, but is also a large city full of vigor and top fashions.
    Ages: 11 & up years old (Any levels)

    Coaches: YANG Xin-fang (national level senior coach), Lili Zhou, etc

    Training hours: 6 hours per day. It would be 3 hours in the morning, 3 hours in the afternoon.

    Facilities: During the four weeks, students will stay in air-conditioned rooms with toilets/ shower. 2 or 3 people share one room. Breakfast, lunch, dinner will be served by center cafeteria with the premium Chinese style meals. You will have access to the badminton gym, weight room, and other facilities within the training center. You feel free to look at other sports training as well.

    Fees
    US$1500 Per person. Including: housing, meals, coaching, equipment, shuttlecock, drinks, facility cost, transportation, and GuangZhou tours. In additional, we will hire two workers to supervise the kids and help for their needs. (Not including air plane ticket, but we can buy it in groups for about $1000).
