This is an interesting statement... I think I need to tweak my grip to get bp of more than 290mm for my MX60... currently applying Victor soft grip of about 20% overlap over original grip and I get about 289mm bp... previously had an overgrip applied over original grip and it is too thin. Any thick overgrip to intro?

I think adding/removing/changing grips to alter bp is nothing more than placebo.

$160 for a MX60.. not overly expensive but not the cheapest as well. strings included already?

as Maklike Tier suggested, you can try buying from Eric RKEP but you need to pay for shipping (won't be much of a problem if you buy several rackets or do a group buy).

you can also try chris e-link. he might be able to give a good price as well.

ever tried the kimony KGT-227? It's supposedly a very thin towel grip:

I think basically there are two groups of people in this forum talking about this... some believe that it is placebo and another group thinks that it does effect the feel and playability, not the head heaviness or weight but the equilibrium point. As for me, I do feel the effect....

Guess no point we start another arguement about this here... Peace ;) As much as I respect your opinion on this, I have to agree to disagree... :p

$160 included a free victor backpack, possibly not bad. What surprised me is it s more expensive than the mx80. Cause i thought MX80 is the flagship...Thanks

Does the cheaper MX80 come with a backpack as well?
The extra cost might come from the cost of the backpack... as they say, no such thing as a free lunch.. hehe

I reckon you can buy a new MX80 with backpack for $130 anywhere.

As far as I know, the Meteors 60/70/80 cost the same. The price of the MX60 can be a bit higher now because it's the newest but expect the price to settle the same as the other MX's.

Which strings best match MX60? I have strung my new MX60 with Victor NS-660 Titanium but 10 games it still s*ks... :crying: My tension is @25x27lbs.

Read some of the earlier posts.. some user already discussed and recommended suitable strings to use, BG66U is one of them...

Thank you for your kind recommendation. I'll simply do just that - Read thru' 41 pages x 17 average threads each page =697 threads, to find the favourite string here.

Hmm.. seems like a good time to do a total re-collection, since I just bought it.

Hope that it is not sarcasm... I personally did that, not only once as reading those comments can be fun. If you are really being sarcastic, then I would just recommend BG66U or VS-850

I'm currently testing Zymax 62 on MX60 after finally broke Zymax 65 and then Yonex BG66um lost it's tension.

Back in the time i was testing Zymax 65, I felt a little bit pain on my arm. It's gone away completely when i changed to yonex BG66um. But then 1.5 month later the string feeling was just bad. And now I'm testing Zymax 62. HELL my muscle pain comeback in just less than a day.

So I think you guys are right. Never use a stiff string on any meteor. (Maybe a placebo since my arm is actually not perfectly healed? and Zymax 62 shouldn't be that bad to the arm?)

PS. The tension i tested is just around 23-24.
