I know the feeling of anxiously waiting for the racket to come and checking the status of the shipment every once in awhile :)

This store sounds pretty good. The only thing thats bothering me is the shipping price. I really wish that it wouldn't be so high. How much did my fellow United States players have to pay for shipping?

The shipping I paid for my past orders from Mr. Chan were very reasonable. On past shipments, I checked the price of shipping online (with the dimensions and weight of the package) and it came very close if not the same to the amount he charged me. The only problem I see is if you get charged by customs.

Hmmm....I might be missing something then. When I input the United States into the shipping calculator, the cheapest rate turned out to be $75. Is there another, cheaper form of shipping? I guess its understandable, but $75 for the cheapest rate of shipping is kinda ridiculous.

$75 in what currency? I've never use the sohubuy as I use e78 (same store by the way) and I usually just email Mr. Chan for my orders.

Thanks for your help. I'm going to simply send an email to the store and see what they say. I assumed that it was US dollar, since there was no HK$.

Yeah, best bet is to email and ask. The prices on the website are in both HKD and USD so the shipping might be HKD afterall. Though you're much better off emailing them.

My racket cost $115 HKD to ship (about $15 USD) which is very reasonable since it's an international shipment and took about 7 work days to arrive (~70% of the wait time was because my package was stuck in customs).

Obviously if you use the shipping calculator from Hongkong Post it's going to be in HK dollars :p. $75 HKD is dirt cheap, I paid around $180 for 2 rackets with regular covers. Which is still cheap compared to USPS ...
The packaging alone weighs quite a lot as well so keep that in mind.

In comparison it costs $115 to ship a 1000g parcel to the US while the same parcel would cost me $150 to Netherlands.

hey what's the quality difference between the TW and the SP codes for yonex racquets?
I don't feel too good about this is because it seems like TW codes are lower quality or something...

Honestly, I don't think there are much if any difference between the codes.

there are no differences between the codes, the TW are cheaper because of the currency exchange its bit cheaper.
