Thanks for the comment and I understand what you are saying but this is an arcsaber not a voltric model. I would assume what you are saying would apply aswell to the arcsaber model range
Yeah it probably would apply as well to the Arcsaber model range, because it would be weird if it didn't ..
it is a fake one the serial number is too low for 2011 production reason: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/94521-New-Fake-Yonex-Rackets-Phenomenon pretty much the same except you have higher number (but doesn't change the fact that it is still too low)
IMO, this one should be fine.. I rarely see any fake AS code. if you are still unsure, you can post the pict of it? (opena new thread) to be honest, maybe what you get is the heaviest or out of spec one. if it is 3G that means it will fall on around 85g-90g maybe the previous two you came across is at 85-86g and the one you have now is at 89-90g. that's just how the G works. the range is pretty large that sometimes the differences is quite noticeable. so, if it is quite noticeable, why they use the G range? most likely because sake of production. you cannot make a consistent 86g racket, there are many variables that can change the weight of the racket. This one should be fine. We don't have a lot of data for made in Taiwan racket, but as far as I remember, this one should be in the expected range should be fine. have you bought it? this thread is for your own racket
Hi guys, If you can please check for my brand new racket i have just ordered from one badminton shop in France: ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Armortec 900 Technique shaft serial: 2782674 cone code : 100814FR source : lardesports.com / France price : 155$ ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- AT900-TG COLW 3U4 (570) I worry a little bit because i found some place on brand new racket, the paintwork is not really sharp and not well done (My old AT500 is so much better) Thank you.
Many thanks, Shinichi Kudo, it makes me feel save. So with the sharp code, my brand new AT900 T is made on 10-08-2001 , so my old bad boy AT500 is more recent than him, since he is from only 2003 with the sharp code of 101136FR (10-11-2003). it is somehow strange ...
racket model: yonex voltric z force shaft code: 2911844 cone code: 208828JP source: given to me by a friend from japan
to be honest, your AT900 is 2011 production.. we know it from the shaft serials. 2XXXXXX is not because it is an early production. it is because in 2011 they reach 9999999 and goes back to 2XXXXXX
