I think he means that he's having trouble finding it now... not when it first came out. Online is probably the best way, stores don't tend to restock older rackets once they sell out unless there is a big demand for them.
The question would more likely be, where are you located? Based on that, finding the Yonex Authorized Dealer would be more of the answer klein is looking for.
Not always, just because the dealer is Yonex Authorized does not mean he will carry a lot of stock of it. Out of the 4 Yonex Authorized dealers in Edmonton that I know of, most of them don't stock more than a couple of each racket and no older ones. So how does finding the Yonex Authorized dealers help me if I'm looking for a discontinued racket?
thanks druss! i found some dealer selling arc7. 250 bucks. ouch! its a bit ex man. anyway im staying in singapore
Ya, they don't tend to drop much in price retail. Maybe see if you can find a used one? Probably under $200 then.
Discontinued rackets is a different story. However for racktes which available but out of stock, they can easily get them in, just call up Yonex. The Yonex Authorized Dealer over here, just calls them up if a racket they normally have it out if a customer wants to buy it. Way too high. More like somewhere around < $220 is more like it.
