I've finally had a change to play with the racket. Mine has been strung with NBG98 @ 11,5 kg. and has the 3U-G4 markings. The racket felt light compared to the VT-ZF LTD purple one with the same specs. And when I measured the balance of the VTZF-88, it was also lighter compared to the Limited version. The normal version I have is a 4U-G4 version, and the VTZF-88 has the same balance as the 4U-G4 racket. The VTZF-88 felt between my normal VT-ZF 4U-G4 and the 3U-G4 VTZF-LTD model. Not sure why, but the VTZF-88 also felt a notch stiffer. Maybe it's due to the less head heavy racket I have. Based on my first impressions, the VTZF-88 is not the same as the VTZF-LTD 3U-G4. I could play better with the VTZF-88, because the balance between power and control is better. The VTZF-LTD is too head heavy for me. Although it might be more powerful, the lack of fast response, doesn't make it a good racket overall. But with the VTZF-88, I could play all day with this racket.
I brought this racket vt zf 88 in queen way shopping, but no sp code on it. May I ask those that brought this racket in Singapore, did your racket shown the sp code ?
Life is short, so just go out and have fun! Mine is with serial no 00004, got it strung and the feel is quite interesting cheers!
I think because of weight difference even with the same color (I have 2 VTZF green 3UG5 but I can see the difference in weight when I measure them on electrical scale). One is really close to 4U.
those who own this and the ori colour version, is this racket paint job better? the ori colour paint very easily peel off
I use it continuosly for the first 3 months, always had miss-hits on the top frame, no chips so far.. (Or maybe i'm not smashing hard enough) Mine is SP-coded. Not sure if it comes in JP.
apparently its not fully sold out yet.. in queensway last month i saw a couple of pieces at $240.. cheaper than the zf ltd!
I saw it in Hong Kong Angreed Tsuen Wan for $1280 HKD, not sure if that's cheap or not seems like they had around 4 of them.
