I wentto the House OF RACQUET last friday... the place is very hard to find.. been twice second time only i manage to find.. the sign is not really visible. And the shop is located inside the lanscaping store.. about the shop.. not that big but twice the space of Bestec and quit comfy. the stock not that much. But basicly covers most of the Yonex Hi-end racquet.. shoes range is okey.. Most of all of the Yonex shoes range is available..Now the stringging service. Bring two racquet there.. My Ti-10 and My old Gosen... Ti-10 goes for BG65 Ti and Gosen BG 6.. as the BG 66 and BG 65 got no Blue or White color... So decided for BG6 only... Price wise. BG 65 Ti Rm35 and BG6 Rm 28... cheap or not i'm not sure.. The Quality of the stringing service in my opinion quit good.. cos last time i ask a shop in Kulim to string my Gosen.. But they said that they not pretty sure la.. takut cannot stand la. But went to the guy says 25-26 no problem... than i go for 25.. same goes with my Ti-10. The ES5PRO also superb...very fast.. and the the guy used 4 point stringing style, which is quit hard to get in my place.. the guy name daren. Ex BAM player.. used to string in mlaysian Open. For WMC and Taufik Hidayat.. Nice guy. not that talkative, but manage to answer all of your question.

This is my experience at Bestech, I've been pretty much a loyal customer to them and so far, I'm not sure if they are the cheapest, but at least I know that what I buy is 100% original, no fakes. They even teach me how to spot a fake so that no one else can cheat me.

    Purchased :

    Li-Ning N90 Woods : (25% discount of price) around RM7XX
Nanogy 98 : Can't remember, but price included stringing my racket for me too.
    RCL Omega Gold : RM46
    Yonex Mavis 2000 (Nylon) : RM50 per 1/2 dozen

The only thing I can say is that they're shop is tiny like my toilet, but more selection of racquets than any commercial outlet (eg. RSH, etc) I've seen. They service is fast, friendly and they let me test racquets before I buy. Iryn (owner) is also a local coach for kids and she has a good eye for types of racquet. I asked her, for me....Z-Slash or N90...I only wanted one of those...none others...she said actually, I should go for Arc 10, but since I only wanted one of the two, she said take the N90...it's more suitable for me. She chose the cheaper of the two since she was able to give me a bigger discount on the N90 at that time. So, I won't say she's the cheapest or has the most stock...but at least she's honest and straight-forward with me. Recently, whilst I was in UK, I bought an Armortec 900P LCW Edition and a Arcsaber 10 PG Edition...and she was right...the Arc 10 was actually more confortable for me to use than my own N90....Well...from that, the moral of the story is...it's not about the price or the variety. It's the professionalism of the person serving you in the shop...and I vouch for her as "She knows her stuff". She'll only try to sell you what's right for you. Not just the most expensive.

Anyway, I'll be visiting her since she carries the Signature Series YY, because someone broke into my car and stole my whole collection from the boot. Haizz...damn sad. Please read Buy and Sell, if anyone comes across a AT900P LCW or AC10 PG, it has my name personalized on the T-joint. I'll reward anyone who can find it back for me.

    Regards,

    Daniel Khoo

The shop is located inside a coffee shop. The shop is located in Ayer Itam towards Penang Hill.

Address is 38-V, Ayer Itam 11500 Georgetown.
    Owner: Mr. Lim

Here in Vienna there's only one (!) badminton shop, and it's much smaller than the one in the pictures in this thread.

The "general" sports stores also sell some badminton stuff, but most of them only have 4-5 racket models (either very expensive high-end Yonex or some rackets no one has ever heard of).
