Yay! could you please take a photo of the fixed clamps mounted on your stringing machine?
Is it a 12mm post?

Looking forward to your feed back on the $$ upgrade to your machine. I think us stringers are secretly wanting you to convince us that it is worth it =)

All I can say is SEXY! Oh yeah. I didn't know what to expect as before using them, I was like...."oh...seems just like another set of clamps....over priced clamps!" LOL then, when I starting using them, I was more and more impressed. Very well made and has a distinct click when locking due to a roller ball. Also, teeth are pointier. Definitely worth the money now that I've had the chance to use them. Check out some pics.....:D

I liked them so much I brought them home to use on my other Gamma machine...hehe :p

Thanks AZbadman - I guess the photos answered my question about the width of the posts. I own a Gamma 6004...soo it looks like these babies can fit on my machine.

Aside: Nice Chudek supports!

Yes. Standard 12mm posts fit all Gamma machines and Eagnas etc.

So.... With the approval of the wife, I ordered a set of Toyo clamps for my Gamma 6004. Looking forward to trying them out.

Will post again after they have arrived and given them a try on a few rackets.

That's awesome! You'll love them. For the first two weeks, I carried them back and forth from home to the shop and back just so I can use them at both locations while stringing racquets....lol

I need another set and a set of tennis ones would be nice too :p

For the price of two of these I could build most of a machine... but ye gods, they're tempting.

My pair of Toyo Zouki Clamps arrived yesterday (took 1 week to ship from Japan). Won't get to try them out till tonight.

Some initial comments:
- locking and unlocking the clamp is sooo smooth.
- 12mm diameter posts fit like a charm into my clamp bases
- The Toyo clamp post length is about 1/2 - 3/4 " shorter than the gamma clamp posts.
-> is a non issue since i use chudek supports which have the racket suspended lower than the gamma badminton supports.

I'll post a pic later comparing the lengths of the toyo clamp posts to the gamma. *Length of the post may be a factor to your machine.

So I'm looking at the Penta Premium Badminton clamps on W&D - for those that have used several brands, how do they rate?

Also has anybody used these: http://www.racquetdepot.co.uk/pros-pro-automatic-swivel-clamp-base-bar-and-clamp/

"When the clamp falls back into the clamp base, the clamp base opens automatically, reducing stringing time. Alternatively, the quick release can be opened by applying pressure on the release button.

An additional significant improvement to the conventional systems is that the clamp base can be adjusted with a rotary screw - the adjustment with an Allen Key is no longer necessary."

Sounds good...

or these:

http://www.racquetdepot.co.uk/pros-pro-swivel-clamp-base-and-bar-v2/

The adjustment with an Allen Key is now never required, however, slightly more force is needed to tighten the clamp base.

Those first ones you have linked up there doesn't work with badminton racquets.

The second ones look like Gamma knock off bases. You can just get GAMMA ones direct.

Referring to the clamp bases I guess.

Do you mean the Gamma 'Quick Action' bases? Part MQAC-10 ?
