reffing is kinda scary sometimes, especially with inexperience umpires with little exposure to big events. kinda feel bad for the umpire but kinda funny too. you would think a professional interviewer would slow down his/her speech...i mean it's common sense, when we talk to people who don't know too much english, you tend to slow down a tiny tiny bit, so that they can catch what you're saying, but not slow enough that they feel like being treated like a mentally challenged person?
Prannoy is gaining weight. He has become bulky. Not a good sign. India's hope says with Srikanth in MS.
Totally. It was just a funny incident. Their was a bit of a language barrier as well and I think the ref thought Jindapon wasn't understanding so kept telling her. Except she understood very well but didn't know how to convey this well in English. Schenk stepped in umpire completely lost confidence. Funny and sad
Indian govt heard this, rant about the foreign players getting lesser money, hence as an immediate measure has depreciated Indian currency by 20% against dollar and still counting... so their price goes up if they convert the earnings into INR while their poor Indian counterparts are getting paid in INR hence they arent slated to gain.... So all the Taufik Hidayats playing in this IBL this is your chance get paid in dollars and spend it in India you make 20% more as of today that way... if you wait till the IBL is over you might even make 40% more.... http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...players-at-old-rates/articleshow/21968187.cms

I think the way to make a sport entertainment TV program isn't use the ethical way. Perhaps, IBL would be intelligent enough to see events like Axiata Cup or Chinese Badminton League. When all things are going wrong, the name of the institution and also the athletes who connected with that event will be negative. Soo baaad....
The decision of BAI for bringing a non-cricket sport to court is marvellous and their effort in making it more interesting with so many combinations of players in one team is extraordinary .Much important thing here is to pull crowd to watch the game in a country like INDIA is very very difficult. They are doing excellently well so far. Viewers are increasing day by day to this league which is a positive sign for badminton in India. We can see more new faces from India in the years to come. I hope next year it would be better than this year.
Apart from Lucknow I dont see at other places that they have given tickets to students.... Distributing 50 tickets to young people could help popularizing the sport as professional venture, make good use of vacant seats and increase the cheers at the ground.

Mumbai master finishes before Banga beats still have 2 rounds to play! Too much rooms to fix the game! In this kind of competition, all 6 teams should play the last round at same time. But instead, they will play in sequence and across 4 days!
Haha that was funny. For anyone who decides not to read the article, don't believe a word of what gopalprasad wrote
P.C.Thulasi vs Saina Nehwal.. Interesting.. They have given chance to Thulasi to show her face to television. It should be an easy victory for Saina..
