recently got my 5th NS9900. I always get it, love it, want more from it, sell it, and later miss it before buying another one. Love the stiffness of the shaft and coupled with BG66UM at 24lbs, heaven. Especially with supergrap on the lower half of the handle.
the biggest issue i have switching from a voltric, to an arcsaber, to a nanospeed is the swing weight. unfortunately for me, i bought the 3u nano9900 before i realized that there's a 2u version out, so i wasn't able to generate as much power, and because i'm not strong enough. the racket is solid, and you probably won't feel the hollow-ness, but you'll notice that it will swing a lot faster if you're used to arcs and voltrics. your timing might need adjustments. but if you play a lot you'll be able to adjust in no time. i recommend you stay with the same string and tension as that on your other rackets until you figure out your swing, then switch strings if necessary.
Just gotten my 2nd hand ns9900 strung with BG80 @ 24lbs tempted to try BG66 haha, but for an intermediate none-competitive level, can get expensive easily lol.
OMG. Gotta know from Modern Sports that Yonex was having clearance for NS9900 recently. Discount up to 40% ++ some more. Meaning we can no longer buy this racket in the future? Oh no!

Hi, I am currently using BS12 and broke it. I love the speed and mid flex of the racquet. I am thinking of replacing it with ns9900. Can some one tell me if it will be heavier and stiffer? Regards
The NS9900 is definitely a lot stiffer. I don't have a BS12 but have a BSLYD which is stiffer than the BS12 (and head heavier) but the NS9900 is slightly stiffer still. The NS9900 is not really head light as Yonex suggests. It is even balanced but towards the lower end. So it would be in the same region as the BS12, perhaps a fraction more head light. In terms of maneouvrability, I would say they are relatively equal. The BS frames are very fast frames as you know, but aerodynamics only really become a major factor for long fast strokes - such as smashes. For short strokes weight and balance is the governing factor and this is where the NS9900 excels. Coupled with the solid frame feel, it is one of the best racquets for drives and net shots. I have the 3U NS9900 and a 3U BSLYD and would say, in terms of weight, the Victor and Yonex weight classes are quite similar, I can't tell much difference tbh. I do feel that the 3U NS9900 lacks a little power though, so I personally would be interested in trying a 2U version at some point.

you ask the most ambiguous questions most of the time.. you have to experience it yourself, or at least furnish more details on what type of shots you use the most and what are your strength/weak shots before anyone can reply to you... the NS9900 is stiffer than the arc 11, and has a very quick repulsion, its easy to return shuttles with good clearance. the arc 11 is cushy, but it doesnt mean it cannot do the same, the way you swing/stroke matters..
