See him with MP99 in the 2002 Thomas Cup and MP77 at 2003 WC (and switching to AT700 after it) ...
Looking at the AE1999 that could be an some sort of isometric shaped for Taufik ... if he could bloody keep it still for a sec :D. Cab20 Tour was definitely Sydney 2000 and beyond ...

Maybe the MP77 inspired the color-way for the ARC 11 TH?

I was surprised both Gade and TH went from V1 At700 to V2.

IMHO Version 2 AT700 is awful.

Ah..alrite,20 tour i should still be able to get it.I'll renew the picture later then..

While for 20 tour,i think it should be acceptable, since we still can trace the pics of it.But cab9,i think that's before he became an athlete..

Anyway,Thx olli and demolidor for the help!

We never know whether it's really the v2,or v1 repainted.

I agree with u,v2 definitely felt different from the v1.More flex, but more head heavy.Players that got used to v1,won't be easy to switch to v2.

Smichz congrats on a great thread really enjoying this one and the Peter Gade tribute. Since we have already completed 2 of the 4 Kings how about a thread for LCW and Lin Dan (while with Yonex). I know they arent due for retirement just yet.

This is by far my favourite thread on the whole forum. :D Fantastic job, I hope TH gets to see this thread one day. You have done a really fantastic job for (imo) the best player of all time. Not the fastest, or the strongest, or most successful etc. but to me, he is the best. I have not enjoyed watching another player play as much and his skill to me is unique and exceptional and being a player is not only about what is done on court, but also off-court as well. I hope one day I can achieve 1% of what he has and bring a smile and joy to millions like he has. Great tribute. :)

    Smichz,
Im not sure im qualified to tell you which rackets LCW and LD have used. This maybe requires Demolidors expertees. I will have a bash at it. happy to be corrected.
    LCW ??>NS8000> AT700 V1>NS9900> AT700P> AT900LCW> VT80>VTZF>VTZFOLY> VTZF (3U/G4)
    LD??> ISO900>MP99>AT700V1>li-ning (3U/G4)

You'd have to throw in the AT700Ltd for Lin Dan, probably after the 1st gen At700.

Not really, he never touched the thing :D. But we have to throw a Kason (or was it SOTX?) in there that he used in club competition iirc ... should be around the forum which particular model it was.
Looks like it was SOTX ... now to filter out a model(s) ...

Sure demolidor is our historian here..haha

LCW,i remember were using NS9000X before switching to NS9900.But,i really don't know if he got used AT700 V1 before.Or was he just used for a short period of time?

    LD as i remember,used AT700 V2 also,before switched back again to V1.

I believe it's a first gen AT700..so does his record for fastest backhand smash..

Can't see the fiery red like the AT700 V2 though..the shaft was dark

He used N50 before as well, not very familiar with LN rackets..not sure whether it's the normal or the ii.

I heard that happends because Lining was pissed of by what the sport commentator said.It happend when,i think it's yu yang, broke her racket..n the commentator said, see that 1000+ RMB racket broke just like that..

So,not long after that comment,Li Ning asked Lin Dan to use this N50 and he did win in that tournament.:p
