Chris, in a match between teammates, one's typical strong points would not be that strong due to familiarity. Otherwise Lin Dan would never lose to his teammates in training.

2010 Malaysian Open SS Quarter-Finals: Bae Youn Joo is much fresher than Sung Ji Hyun

    .
    That's true. :):):)

IMHO, BYJ should defeat SJH tonight.
BYJ is much fresher than SJH in this match.

It seems that Korea WS department's performance has dropped recently. Not only Sung Ji Hyun, but also Bae Seung Hee, Kim Moon Him, and Bae Youn Joo also lost in earlier round of AE. They did badly in last week German Open as well. What happened actually? After such a good performance in Korea Open and Malaysia Open, they are exhausted? hehe...

Would have been a shocker if any of them had won a match in Germany as NONE of them played.:p

What you saw this week was merely a failure to produce more upsets. They all lost to higher-ranked opponents and Bae Youn Joo did pull off an upset over Petya (WR#15). Bae Seung Hee is the highest ranked of the Koreans at #16 and the four Koreans were beaten by the world #7, #8, #10, and #11.

Opps, sorry. I think I wrote the wrong tournament. I mean the SCG Thomas&Uber Cup 2010 Preliminary Asia Zone. Haha... I was a bit blur recently due to heavy workloads. They did badly at the group stage but they were able to come back at the final stage. Hehe... sorry.. :p But from what I can see from the Korea Open and Malaysia Open to this All England, I sense that their performance has dropped. Maybe youngsters still have up and down. This applies to chinese youngsters as well. Hehe... hope they can perform better in the upcoming important event - Uber Cup. I hope they can at least get a silver. Hehe... :D
