- Aussie Rules Football - Gaelic Football Out of all of 'em le soccer is the only one where handballs are a foul though (except for the goalie ofcourse).
I am pretty sure I am talking about American Football when I mentioned that I watched the game in NY?????? Kinda like the Colts...esp Peyton Mannings. I hope they win it this year
Come on Saints. Shrug off that lousy display you had against Minnesota and bring the 'bowl home to New Orleans (go Steelers )
Oh darn, what on earth did Il Divo Brett do? I thought they had it. So close yet so faraway. Let's go Vikes next year!

Can never understand this game Why is it that the winner of this bowl thing is called the world champions? Do you need to change players that often? No subs limit? Isnt it heavy to run around in that helmet and gear?
The last time I was checking the scores, it was Colts 10 Saints 0. Then, when I looked at the Final Score, It's the Saints who won the Super Bowl
Who Dat!? Dem Saints All the years of suffering (for me since the 90-somethings, thank Madden '94 for that ), redemption at last . Happy happy, joy joy! Got home at 5AM or something haha
Just like their counterparts.. ..the 'Aints win in the 2010 SuperBowl reminds me of when the St. Louis (previously the Cleveland and all those yrs in Los Angeles) Lambs won their 1st title after yrs of humiliation. Anyway, didn't watch the game but congrats to the New Orleans Saints (they seem to have the better balance on offense and defense). And good luck in trying to defend the title.. - Has to do with tradition (i guess just like the NBA and MLB). I guess when they first started this game/league, no one else in the world played it except the Americans. Thus calling it the "World" Championships. Partly also to do with marketing. - In NFL, yes, there are no limits to the number of substitution. - I've never adorn those, but yes, they definitely put a bit extra weight (not really heavy).
Super Bowl draws biggest viewership of all-time - Super Bowl XLIV Colts-Saints Super Bowl becomes most watched TV show of all-time NEW YORK (AP) -- The Super Bowl was watched by more than 106 million people, surpassing the 1983 finale of "M-A-S-H" to become the most-watched program in television history. The Nielsen Co. estimated Monday that 106.5 million people watched the New Orleans Saints upset the Indianapolis Colts. That beats the "M-A-S-H" finale, which had 105.97 million viewers in an era when there were fewer television sets. Compelling story lines involving the city of New Orleans and its recovery from Hurricane Katrina and the quest for a second Super Bowl ring for Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning propelled the viewership. The game also obliterated the record viewership for a Super Bowl -- 98.7 million people in last year's game between Arizona and Pittsburgh. Copyright 2010 Associated Press.
