at pertama complex, rsl x2 blue is rm300 for racket oni

well, u mean u wana punish the company or sumthing? bcoz the boss is quite good and the things r slightly cheaper than market price, so i hope u dun punish him. mayb it's the problem with the distributor or sum1 else coz jus now i went to the shop to ask the boss again bout tis matter. he said he seldom bring in rsl rackets(as i noticed, yes) and he enphasize tat is the skill tat matters, not the racket. even u buy a rm1000 racket, u cant b lin dan, he said. he even volunteered to lend me his selections of racket to test if i wan.

i think i can post the pics 24 hrs later

so rslcanada, can u jus help me to ask if it is fake and try not to involve the shop? if yes, i can pm u the details.sorry

i dun think it will punish the seller. not seller's fault if he dunno it is fake. but you can talk to malaysia distributor, see if they distribute to your local supplier and then u'll find out if he is selling them legitimately. if he is not suppose to be one of the sellers, then he might very well be selling fake RSL rackets.

My friend bought his X2 Blue at Ah Lee, Jln Bangsar last week for RM278, includes RSL string, RSL grip and RSL 3 compartment bag. His price is the best in KL for RSL. Found out that he is the top seller of RSL stuff in Malaysia. I'm sure his rackets are genuine.

I think what darkwingduck is referring to is that the specs published for RSL X2 Gold is 91 - 93gm which is supposed to be 2U and not 3U.

wingleebadminton probably made a mistake ?

I forgot to take a look at the RSL X2 Pro when I was buying my X2 AP but from the pictures you took, it is different from what I had on my AP.

These are what is on my racquet :

    1) On the frame at the 1'o clock position "HIGH TENSION UP TO 28LBS". The words are in small font.
    2) On the grip, there is a sticker that says "3U-G5". Yours looks like a Yonex sticker as it states the recommended tension also.
    3) For the butt cap, mine does not have the small rivets.

In the RSL spec published, X2 Pro doesn't hv "Taper Shaft Technology" instead it has stiff shaft.

Those tiny studs at the butt are not rivets but shiny diamond like things. My 2007 RSL rackets have them but my 2008 rackets have a different butt design .

i own them all and i don't even know the answer anymore. FP seems pretty flexible to me but i have heard some reviews here that mention it is stiffer than either the AP or the SP (don't remmeber). FP is a light racket 5u. has the best maneuverabillity of all the X2 rackets. I can no longer tell you if it is head light or heavy or even balance only because i have a tennis replacement grip on it and have offset the weight. i think it is even balance towards a bit head heavy but not much. racket was so light it was hard to tell. shaft i would say medium flex. due to taper shaft/thinner shaft, none of these rackets are particularly stiff except for x2 BLUE which you did not question. AP is more headheavy compared to FP i think. the shaft in my opinion seems a bit stiffer than FP, so maybe a medium stiff but definitely not stiff or very stiff. again i have big fat grip to offset the weight. I think AP is suppose to pack a punch in smashes but i seem to be able to pack more in the SP (might be a weight issue that i'm not used to so i can't get the sweet spot correctly). specs don't tell much about a racket's feel. i suggest testing it out. i definitely like the X2 Gold over the X2 Blue, but in terms of specs X2 Blue should have suited me better.
