as an amateur, i would say u r a collector once u have > 6 rackets... we only have 2 hands... i say anything pass 20 is call greed... haha...
Say a person has 20 rackets (genuine ones)......AT250/AT700/AT500/Ns8k/Ns9k/Cab20/cab30/Arc7/Arc10 etc On average these rackets would sell around £60 (USD $120) each Hence £60 x 20 = £1200 (~USD $2400) That is a lot of money to spend on rackets...!!!
Here we go then, new category added since already few people has more than 20 rackets... only 1 racket 2 to 4 rackets 5 to 7 rackets 8 to 10 rackets 11 to 20 rackets ... more than 20 rackets.... (anyone at all ??) lost count coz too many...??!! (alert this is so-called badminton EXTRIMIST )
Hmmm... let me see... 14 rackets in France, 15 rackets in Montreal... Planning to buy some more Kind of a collector: Yonex, Wilson, Carlton, Black Knight, Prince, Babolat, Rossignol, Head, Artengo (Brand name of a sports store in France), clone, no name brand.... BTW, I only buy cheap or entry level rackets. They are heavy duty, last quite a long time.... and it's the player that makes the difference, not the racket (except for the really cheap 10 dollars rackets with no integrated T-joints. But they are so much fun ) The most expensive racket I bought was a Yonex AT250 for 50 euros. And the shaft broke after playing twice with it That's why I prefer cheap, solid and durable
i use to have 5 but gave 1 away to a mate which i hardly use any more but at the moment 4. but out of the 4 i use 2 most of the time so i suppose others are just there you know : )
11-20 rackets = unfortunately = rich people drifit = very poor people category(almost reaching beggar category) :crying:
yeah, it seems these days i'm collecting racquets more than playing with them. i do intend to reduce the numbers though, selectively.
Only 2 Arc Saber 10. I switch the rackets so that the rackets have enough rest before I torture them again. Thanks.
hahaha, i see what you're doing. it's getting to be quite an expensive hobby for me, it hasn't really affected my lifestyle yet, but soon ... very soon ....
I sold one of my racquets.. now I have three racquets. I feel like selling my other one as well, a Cab8SP since I dont use it so often.
how many rackets do u have? Formerly,I belong to but now belong to . Of course, the cost of trying new rackets is not cheap but interesting. Lee
i have 6 here.1 is antique aluminium head yonex old racket with hand string. i just hang on the wall.haha..
i have 7 racquets, 2 are cheap ones (used when i first started), then i share the remaining 5 between myself, my girlfriend and my 2 siblings...
