    SOTX D-600 (singles for hard smashing);
    Talbot Torro 311 Iso Lite (4U even balanced mid stiff 665mm tactical racket for doubles);
    NoName SuperCarbon 3.0 (1U graphite and alominium racket for training).

    It may looks like I have all the rackets I need, but... I don't know, I am a bit tempted by the Karakal SL-80... Looking for an oval racket anyway...

    It took me a few days of on-off surfing (5 minutes every now and then) to get through this 15 pages of lists, because I was really curious to know what rackets other people are using... and, wow!

    Quite an extensive inventory, featuring all sorts of brands... but surprisingly, barely any Ashaways. Is there any specific reason for this? I'm wondering because I only have 1 racket, and it's an Ashaway Superlight 79. (shows that I'm quite the newbie!)

    Anyway, I for one don't see the surprising/strange thing about owning lots of rackets. People collect all sorts of things for all sorts of reasons, and using them regularly in play shouldn't be the only justifiable reason for owning a racket. (think jewellery, watches, books, sneakers, stamps, even cars....) :D

    I think its a human trait to collect lots of stuff that they like around them!

    (btw - this is my first post. hello to all!)

    :D and it is a post I agree with.

    Although as you can see from the posts , people if they sold all their rackets - could probably buy a car :p.

    Badminton is a passion , and a hobby :).

    Anyway welcome to the forum molex.

    i guess that's what it comes down to..
    since i've only played less than a year so far i only have two racquets
    everytime i get a third racquet, i sell the worse of my antecedent racquets

    im a simple guy i guess
    i get a massive headache everytime i have to choose between two racquets to use
    for now it's one primary, and one spare

    maybe i'll get more in the future

    Depending on how your Arc10 broke, and if it was real, and if it wasn't because of stringing problems, I think you can get it replaced with warranty.

    Head Metallix 4000 - Just got this restrung with BG80 at 25lb. Can't wait to try it out. I really like it even with the factory strings at ~21lbs.\

    I think 3 is the most you would need. How many strings could you break in a day?
