^^That's what jerby is trying to avoid..^^

..having lots of threads and then having them buried a few pages back.
Also, if a SOTX7 was sold in 2005 and then there's another SOTX7 thread selling it last yr, are we still comparing the price sold in 2005??....Maybe threads showing the latest and greatest price should only be kept??..

    Btw..

..i just checked in the Buy/Sell sub-forum/section, the oldest posted thread was made in late (Dec) 2007; not too long. But indeed, there are threads which haven't been touched, replied for quite a while. I wonder if the thread creator is even aware of what s/he is still selling?? or if the seller is still active in BC??..:confused:

    Haha, I said that already:p:p.

It's true though, what's important are active sales, not recent ones, so the bump is crucial to making sure that active sale remain on the front page.

    Okay, just for you..

..since i don't want to be banned..:(

    2 simple steps:
First, you need to click on the almost unnoticeable "Search" icon near the top of this page.
Second, once a box pops up, you then type "SOTX 7 For Sale" because if you just type "SOTX 7", it'll bring out tens of pages. You then click the "Go" button & you should hopefully see a list of threads per your query.

I absolutely agree, It's the coherent version of my exact thoughts:p

Now, I can live with the new setting, as long as nobody bans me for re-posting a thread:rolleyes:

A suggestion (does this belong here?)

What people generally disliked about the old system was 1 thread, with 15 replies to it, out of which 13 where just a bump (made by the thread starter).

Now, what if you gave the thread-starter the option to delete his own replies in that thread? That way, you'll still have a bump-function, but no more threads cluttered with posts... Only 1 bump.
(though I must admit, I have no idea if forum software allows this)

A recycle-able bump? How very logical....and environmentally freindly:).
