After watched their match against Cai/Fu, I think Rian/Angga have proven that they are the MD pair #1 which Indonesia have now. Not to mention their winning over Ahsan/Hendra in the Australian GPG 2 months ago.

Really hope that this pair could win a superseries event soon to establish themselves as world class pair. The upcoming Indonesia Open, maybe? :D

I think the Sudirman Cup match between Rian/Angga and Cai/Fu is already at the same or close to excitement level and technique level of Cai/Fu and LYD/JJS matches.

    Very satisfied to watch it.

I hope in the Indonesia open, there will be another young pair that shows good improvement

Good Lord, CCTV commentator just didn't know when to pause :p

Pretty impressed that they were able to keep their cool & deliver despite being in intense, high-pressure moment. The same goes to Towi as well. Huge improvement in psychological dept, I'd say.

I could not wait to download their matches in a good resolution. A really entertaining yet a tense match, displaying both speed and power from each pairs. I have watched several of their rallies through live streaming yesterday, they are all awesome. I hope Rian/Angga could take their game to the next level and becoming one of the world's best pairs. I really do.

I have to say that the last few pts were very well played by Angga/Rian....they were fierce with their all-out attacks on the reigning World and Olympics champions.

    Kudos to them!

Yes I also paid attention on their calmness through the critical points of the game. They seem so focus buat also relax meanwhile. They smiles in some occasion and talk each other everytime. Just after the end of the game then they expressed their joy of victory. Very well behave by them I think.

So let's expect consistency in which most of INA players lack of.
They should not played extraordinarily good but then play extremely bad like when he faced Fuzzy (MAS MD pair) last year.

    ^^^

You sure you don't mix up "consistency" and "peak performance"? Because I think Rian/Angga's performance vs Cai/Fu fell into the latter category.

Nope. But maybe I was either not complete or clear.
I meant consistency throughout their career ahead. CY/FHF have been around as top MD even since Alvent/Luluk. Even Kido/Hendra which should be younger is no longer around. And I still consider them as top MD. A bit rusty maybe.
I hope Angga/Ryan not to be one-hit-wonder pair. Still long way to go.

    hmm.... about Ryan/Angga consistency.
Let us see their perform in their last 3 tourneys :
    Australia GPG - Winner
    New Zealand GP - Winner
SC - beating Cai/Fu, Olympic gold

    consistent or not ?

Critics will say, "Of course they won la. No top CHN/KOR/MAS/Europe MDs competing."

Seriously, some people wouldn't be impressed unless they deliver all the time. A feat even KSH/LYD unable to do. And when a series of flops befalls the pair, they are among the firsts to yell, "Split this pair! No hope already!"

BTW, you forget India SS. They lost to Liu/Qiu in SF.
