Main > cross is not wrong nor incorrect (within 10%). Just feel different compare to main = cross or main < cross.
It's wrong if you base it on the original shape of the racket. Going more on the main and less on the cross, assuming you string the mains first, you will have a racket that is rounder and will deviate more from the original shape than if you got 10% more on the cross.
Im confortable with 25lbs... I haven't try main and cross stringing so if i wan to string a ti10 with BG66... wat is the tension...?
Didn't Kim Dong Moon do this on purpose? I think I saw a picture of his NS8k (perhaps on BC itself) that was almost circular. I usually wait 48 hrs after stringing a racket and then compare it to an empty frame - if the "aspect ratio" has been preserved, some shrinkage is fine by me.
That's not a bad idea - "I want a stiff shaft and a classic head, and by god I'm going to have them!"

10% cross in KL Anyone knows in KL any stringer willing to do 10% increase on cross? I've been to all so call "reputable" around stringer but none of them seems to know about it. Another thing, none of them willing to do 2 pieces stringing for obvious reason, time.
How are you going to strung an ISO head shape racket? e.g. main > 25 and cross > 27 or main > 27 and cross > 25? I want to strung my racket @ 25 lbs.. Is this right? Main = Vertical Cross = Horizontal
First off, MAINS : 'Vertical' (parallel to the shaft) CROSS : 'Horizontal' (perpendicular to shaft)... If you want your mains tensioned to 25 lbs, you would wanna tension your crosses to 27 lbs (add 2 lbs) or 27.5 lbs (add 10%)... Bottom-line... Mains should be tensioned lower than crosses... - with notable exception of Kim Dong Moon's NS8K...
