i bet atleast half of the badminton fans didnt know who is her but her english quite good and she know bahasa malaysia too
For her height & physique, she still has time.. ..considering her age, she should still have time to grow a couple more inches or more..Maybe add more milk and burgers to her diet..
another big new for this 14 years old wjc entered sea games ws final at this young age and with a good chance to prove she is the thailan number 1 ws
although she failed in the final she still make it into history book become the youngest player to reach sea games final well done reaching final by beaten the 2005 ws sea games gold medalist and lydia cheah en route to final
Ratchanok Intanon's birth date . Her registration at the 25th SEA Games, Laos 2009 showed her date of birth as 05-Feb-1995. Source: click here for LaosSEAgames2009.com .
she had beaten(senior tournament) maria febe, lindaweni, maria elfira, nichole grether, tasah, cheng hsiao chieh(2005 ws wc bronze medalist) firda(2005 sea games ws gold medalist) lydia cheah(2007 ajc ws runner up) titles vietnam ic world junior ws champion and runner up of mas ic she is 14 by the way
The future looks bright for Ratchanok . IMHO, in terms of 'World Class Badminton', Ratchanok Inthanon is already there. Yesterday, Thursday 24-Dec-2009, she is ranked 73rd in the world (Women Senior Singles). At her age of only 14, the future looks bright for Ratchanok. .
she retained the wjc title at age of 15 well done and she have 3 more wjc to go but next year will be the toughest
Thailand will overtake Msia in 5years time ... Thailand has so many talented youngster... is great for badminton!
Well Done May (2010 World Junior Champion) !!! . Yes, Well Done May !!! But why is next year (2011) the toughest? .
yang li lian and sonia will playing their final year tai tzu ying is playing at her own backyard(wjc 2011 at tpe) and i believe the japanese ws have atleast 1 more wjc to go
Ratchanok Inthanon should play better in 2011 . IMHO, for next year (2011) May should not be as nervous as she was for this year and for last year. With more match experience, I would say that May should play better in 2011. .
Ratchanok could (and should) win 5 titles in a row, which would be a record that no one would ever break. Axelsen could win the WJC 2 more times, though he won't make it so easily as Ratchanok due to having more resistance in the BS. Now if they were to get together and have a child in the future, that would be a born champion.
..imo, Ratchanok will be the one to watch, in her age group, for 2016 OG (she might spring a surprise in 2012 at 17 y.o. but don't think it's her time yet)..She'll be only 21 yrs old by 2016 and God only knows how good she'll be if she keeps on improving and be consistent; right now, for her age, she is so good, it's not even silly..I think her only weaknesses are, if i can categorize them, her stamina and lack of international matches against the world's top players. In her age group, no doubt she's da queen. Hopefully she doesn't burn out or reach a peak plateau before then..
