Bae pays dearly for her numerous unforced errors and against a more consistent, polished and "complete" player like Han, this has proved costly. But Bae scored 2 goog points to trail 9-17 now. No way Bae can prevail unless Han is injured.
Bae got 27 point in total, same as Sung HJ yesterday. i am convinced that Han Li is better than LXR and WSX. I wonder if Han Li will play against Saina or Tine within the next few weeks. I can't wait.
A smash to Bae forecourt sealed Han's first international victory for this year. Final score 21-14, 21-15. A happy Han is crowned WS champion as she held high the silver trophy and the grey Koala that comes with it. Well done for a qualifier!
I concur that Han Li is probably better than WSX but differ that she is better than LXR, at least not yet - LXR attacks much better. In fact,LXR fooled me a few times, appearing somewhat fatigue and playing tired-looking shots but often romping home with a spurt of energetic play in the rubber on many occasions.
Kido and Setiawan always surprise me with their delightful tops. The designs and motifs in bold colors are usually traditional Indonesian. And they are leading TPE's Lee and Fang 11-8 at the interval.
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan won over Lee Sheng Mu/Fang Chieh Min 21-16 21-15. So, is it still possible for them for OG?
Who has never been to sydney? Remember to go down to wollongong uni for a hit. Many Malaysians and Indonesians playing there.
(farewell??) title for Markis Kido / Hendra Setiawan. They finally clinch title after about 2 years, I guess Possible, but TINY chance. Their ticket depends on how good the performance of 4 pairs in BAC and/or India SS: - Sato/Kawamae - Hashimoto/Hirata - Alvent/Hendra - KKK/TBH
Maybe that's why they won...hahaha But unfortunately it is unlikely they could defend their Beijing Olympics title, now that their WR is low.
Kido/Setiawan is really an amazing pair, they always peaking at the right time... Hope they can participate in the OG 12. Then the MD competition will be more interesting...
