I like the MP99 for doubles but not for singles. It's good for smashing but not for net play where I don't like the feel. Any ideas on a singles racquet for me?

it seems most of the top singles players these days are using either:

    at700
    at900p
    at900t

    so give these a try.

    racquets

    Ok lessee, oldest to newest:

    a) Yonex Aerotus 44
    b) Yonex NS9000X
    c) Browning Nanotec 85 cti
    d) Victor power waves 11
    e) Gosen roots aermet 7900

I can't seem to get used to the Victor racquet; I even changed strings (YY BG65, ashaway 66, YY BG80ti) and tensions twice (tried 20, then 22, then 24 lbs)

The Browning racquet vibrates a lot when smashing and clearing, and is a little short for my liking (66 cm). I think the vibration is due to the handle and shaft being all one piece (i.e., the handle is made of graphite as well, and as far as i can tell, it's hollow). It's very light, but certainly not my favorite racquet. I only use it after I break the strings of any of my other racquets.

The two I use most often are the YY NS9000X and the Gosen.. both are great!

I'm the Australian agent for SOTX. I will be trialing these racquets when they come in.

aren't you selling both your ns9k?
does that mean you're gonna stop playing, or are you using the $ to get some new racquets?
