is it true that wangchen play with half heart under china flag??

she lost to mia at UC 1996 and made china lost the cup....
i remember indonesian biggest sports tabloid BOLANEWS said at that time :it seems that mia give a lesson how to play good badminton for wangchen,,,coz wang lost badly at that match...

it's hard to believe it..but chinese coach trust him to fight against mia while at that time china has HAN JINGNA,,,and she paid that trust played with half heart and after that she leave china team to be their enemy on court...

    sounds like betrayed???

and now...wang play with extra motivation under HK flag especially if she met chinese player... she seems really hate chinese:confused::confused::confused:

GIVE me the wright answer...coz i'm confused and alittle bit disappointed with her....it's made me really feel sad.....:(

i have the answer, your presumption is bogus.
Do u know who is Mia A? She is no push over. Mia is in the class of zhang ning and gong zhichao, champions. Mia had won the UC in 1994**. After wang chen left china, she hasn't done do too well (until few odd titles recently).

**Mia beat zhang ning in 1994 UC for the title, did zhang ning ever play half heartedly for china since then? I think wang chen can't take the heat of LYB and left which is her perogative. If wang chen had or ever will be better than zhang ning outside of china, then i will ask kwun to remove this post of mine:D

hmm, good correction but my point still stands.
(I will edit my previous post) :D

Disclosure: i did not use this tactic in winning dinkalot's guess what's wrong with this picture contest:)

I watched the 1994 UC WS final and 2004 WS Olympic final. Very sentimental videos of mia a. versus zhang ning:)

I think we should not try to guess the state of mind of player because only the player himself/herself knows what he/she is thinking at that point of time.

The fact remains Mia beat WC and also ZN, and during that period, Mia was hard to beat. She remains a very competitive player in the WS even when she migrated to Holland. We cannot simply suggest such loses mean the players were not playing full-heartedly. Such accusation is very unfair to the players involved.

    two points:

    - Wang Chen has never been reliable. she can lead a match by one and a half match and suddenly crumbles and loses the match. she may have matured a bit but still not the most stable player

    - Han Jingna won't be able to beat Mia. Han Jingna was never even close to the level of Zhang Ning and Ye Zhaoying at that time. technically, Wang Chen is still better than Han Jingna.

whether one like LYB or not but this guy has the talent to see the long term potential of his players. So far, players who have left china national team (wang chen, chen hong, zhou mi, etc) have not done too good at all where as in INA case, tony G, mia A have earned decent titles after leaving INA.

Zhang Ning is a good player till now, china still can rely on her.If china doesnt keep her,it means china only relies on Xie XF and Zhu Lin while jiang has injury a lot and other juniors are not stable yet. However for chen hong's case, china still has Lin dan, bcl, chen jin and chen yu to rely on

Wang Chen is very reserved about her married life. Not many knows that she is married. But now many knows already.
