We've already covered the fact that they aren't a Yonex authorixed dealer. The fact remains that those are Yonex rules. What I stated was that it was not illegal to sell the rackets.
Also just to add. There are exceptions if Yonex sends the incorrect coded rackets by accident to the country. Instead of sending it back, Yonex will simply tell them to sell it. The warrenty will be valid and covered by the country it was sent to. For instance, the authorized dealer over here has recieved US, JP and CD coded rackets in the past. Rackets are covered by Yonex Canada. Another different exception is if Yonex needed to divert overstock. For instance, Yonex USA had sent to the authorized dealer here a bunch of NS9K(s) when it first came out. Once again, racket warrenty is covered by Yonex Canada.
on US coded rackets inadvertently ending up in canada, i wonder if silentheart was involved in packing up the orders....hehehe
wow... didnt know highend yonex racquets were made in china... at least thats what i saw from mandarin's site lol...
There has been quite a lot of talk about this issue but this I think is a dumb mistake on Mandarin's part lol
Is it a paint crack or actual frame crack? And how many tension do you string because the tension of your string makes a lot of difference. I have a friend who cracked 2 racquets last week his NS 9000S and Carbonex 10 both 25 l/bs (and it was on the 13th of Friday bad luck... )
Here is the issue. If you bought a racquet through a authorized dealer, even if the hair line crack is just paint, YY will replace it. So, the lessen is, make sure you get it from authorized dealer.
Raquet got back well, Mandrain called me couple days ago and told me that my racket got shipped back and that it was not replaced. However, the funny thing is that when I got the letter that they showed me, it said that they only E-mailed a photo to them and that the photo alone told them that the racket wasn't a manufacture defect. Upon questioning them on the point, they told me that they tried to save me time and took a photography. They did return my shipping cost though. However, when the guy who took the photograph came to talk to me, he pointed to a completely different paint chip caused by a clash. It has no crack and is only a light paint chip. They then told me to bring the racket back on another day and that they will take a photo of the right crack. Funny Experience.
Sounds like they are just being lazy and wasiting your time. I had a CD racket that needed to be warranted. I brought it to the authorized dealer and it took about 2 weeks time to process and the end result is recieving a new one from Yonex Canada.
Wow dude, this Mandarin company looks soooo sketchy! They are clearly trying to take your money and time. I suggest never going back to them for anything, I sure am not going there to buy things. I feel sorry for you, the Arc 10 is a really nice racket and it is pretty much my dream racket, but I hope everything goes well for you.
