Hi, is anyone able to compare between MX60 and SW37 (particularly the 4U spec)? I am currently using MX80, whenever I am tired, I will switch to my SW37 4U which is also quite nice to use plus having some decent power. Should I sell off my SW37 to get MX60? Can MX60 match the performance of every department of SW37 4U? I am not able to have both due to budget issue Anyone mind to share the difference between both in term of performance, power, accuracy, maneuverability, etc. Thanks in advance
While I cannot compare the two having never gotten the opportunity to try them, from what I've read I will say that the MX80 and MX60 are perfect compliments if you want to use the 60 when too tired to use the 80. I'm sure Maklike will agree.
Hi man.. Pls try out the mx60 3u and I'm quite sure you will experience the performance that surprise you. Make sure it's a 3u because mx60 doesn't feel heavy on your hand. Find the one which is around 85g to 87g dry. My previous sw37 3u just couldn't perform in terms of power (small sweet spot), accuracy and many more
aryan, sure, I have both the 4u sw37 (dry weight around 85.5) and a 4u mx60 (dry weight around 85.5g) mx60 swing weight is slightly heavier than the sw37, but actually feels faster when swinging. mx60 is also more reactive and more accurate due to its slightly stiffer shaft. as for power. the sw37 is slightly more powerful if you can hit dead on the sweetspot all the time. But due the slightly bigger sweetspot on the mx60 (80 hole systerm), I found it more easier to generate power overall.
SW37 isn't available in Europe. I tested Meteor 60 this morning and have to say it's a brilliant racquet. Despite my liking for stiff racquets I actually preferred 60 to 70 which I also tested. It seemed to handle better, generate more power and overall excelled in every area. I think I just found another 5 star Victor racquet! Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Benwilluk You seem to have a thing going with Victor. How are you getting hold of all of these racquets? Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Wait for ur review Paul.If possible, pls compare mx60 wit bs11When will u have acess tomthe bs lyd anyway?
I am told August although have been allowed to sell the racquet I tested today. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
got my MX60,strung it with bg66ultimax at 25lbs,...new shop, and i just found out her normal 23lbs is equal to 26lbs at digital string machine >.< ... my MX60 is 3U ,last time my SW37 is 3U also, but this mx60 feel lite , i dont comfortable with it =( ... maybe coz i apply karakal pu grip on top of original grip?
u were rite!!! i though i buy the wrong racket, but after check at the website it said 3U is the heaviest +_+ ,..but still feel lite =_=
That's interesting! Is the MX60 more head heavy than the MX80? Also how would you compare it to the BS series?
No, the only difference between the MXs is the shaft stiffness. All of the 5 I've had/have have a net BP with RKEP Ultimate replacement grip of about 300mm. There's plenty of comparos between the MX and the BS series on these forums, but suffice to say they have 90% of the SW power and 90% of the BS speed, but with much greater head stability than the BS. The reason the MX60 is so nice, is that it has the same torsional stability of the 80 and 70, but it has better damping and a less clanging, metallic feel to it.
I see. I'm having a lot of trouble picking a new weapon. MX60 is on my radar, but so are the two new Braveswords. (15 + LYD.) I have the MX80, and i like it, but it may be a tad stiff. On the other hand, i use the BS12 too and i can get surprisingly good power out of it, but i'd like something more head heavy. LYD sounds like a good choice since it's fast and slightly head heavy. BS15, i'm worried about the head shape, since the Z Slash is worthless to me.. MX60 sounds like a good option, and it's sexy too. Then there's the N80 that doesn't really have any proper reviews. (Also the headshape = Z slash?) Aaarghhhh
