    Hi Miyuki,

The station nearest to our home in Nara is Tomio ( 富雄 ), and I dont really mind about the day and the time that the clubs are open.

    Best regards,
    jhirata

Nope, we shipped our car from Japan to NewZealand a few years ago, but I dont really mind walking if the club isnt far from the stations. ( 1 to 3 km )

    Hi Miyuki,

I've meet and played with you at SGVBC last year. I don't know if you remember me or not. Anyways I am planning to go to Japan this winter break
for about 1 week and will be staying in Tokyo and Yokohama. I was wondering if their are any places to play during the week of 12/24-12/31.

    Thanks,

    tommy

I want to play badminton now!

    Hi Miyuki,

I am Thomas Taro, half japanese, living in Sweden. I will be in Tokyo from 24/12 2007 to 11/1 2008. Can I play badminton with you during this period? Also, I wonder if you can recommend any clubs with training weekdays between 24/12 to 11/1..

About me: I train in a club in Stockholm 2-3 times a week + competitions maybe 2 times a month. I have played for around 10 years. I like both singles and doubles. I speak japanese, but not very good - no practice in Sweden :(

    ThaNK YOU!

    Hi,ThomasTaro

Yes, you can play in the period.
It takes 30min from Azabu-juban to our nearest station by train.

Some non-Japanese said to me that they want to play on that period.
If it is possible, I hope that we all play together:)

I will send a mail to your PM in this forum about my contact infomation.

    Talk to you later

    Hi Miyuki,

I managed to find the right club and go there a few weeks ago, but
do you have any idea when the clubs will usually start after the nenmatsunenshi ? I forgot to ask the organiser and I couldnt contact her either, since hotmail somehow isnt working on our computer..

    Sorry for bothering >_>

    Hi Miyuki,

Tommy here. First thank you for introducing me and taking me to the badminton clubs in japan. I hope we have the opportunity to to play again in the near future. I am planning to relocate to japan for work, and was wondering if I can join a badminton league to play/compete.

    Thank you,

    tommy

    Hi,EK
    Welcome to Japan!
When and what time can you play?

The period whild you stay in Tokyo is the best season in Japan because you can see many blooming cherry trees. They are very beautiful.

    Talk to you later

Ah, how I wish that I was back in Japan again. The clubs ( and some members ) here in NewZealand are terrible.. very arrogant and unhelpful. Expensive too.. I loved how in Japan, everyone welcomed me, gave me a discount ( 500yen -> 300yen :D), and also the fact that there were practise/training sessions and free tea/snack breaks too..
