Yes, so close yet so far.

But somewhat he is right about the part that he is lucky while LCW is the unlucky one. LCW have won countless first places but could not crowned as legend cause he have yet win OG or WC. But in fact lot of the SS LCW won has much tougher draw than TH had in OG.

Admire the man for his complete honesty and lack of false ego. No excuses, no fake humility, and no false claims either. What a guy!

LCW is his good friend. And he's right, champion need luck too, as well as TH luck in SS series is not good, on the other hand, in major events, he is very lucky. But lucky is not the only part of it. A champion need all.

It's funny that Taufik says he doesn't like watching badminton, when all he does during matches is watch what's going on in the courts beside him.

TH looked quite tired in the final. But this is normal to anyone who's been watching him play in the past few years. Three young fighters (Tago, DPY, JOJ, especially DPY -- unless you are physically superior to him, no easy point, not a single one) in a row? Too much for good old Taufik. :D

His route in French Open looks easier. Easy until SF. In SF he is likely to meet BP. But BP is mainly a technique player and is not young. Win or lose, he won't be able to drain TH's energy.

If he can play at the same level (not a very high level anyway) as in DO, yes... It's hard to imagine him losing to Ouseph, and he should have better chance beating than losing to BP.

i should say those 2 taufik should be able to pass with flying colors, sorry ouseph and boonsak fans!

the only problem is probably peter against du pengyu given his recent back injury

Don't be so quick to write off PG. He's always been a fighter to the very end, and he's still good to be ranked in the top 5. Besides, I think Taufik will want PG to be up against him once again -- just for old time's sake! :D

No one's writing off PG... He's been beating LD and LCW once in a while, how could anyone ignore him...

This is why we are only discussing whether TH should reach Final easily or not (PG is in the other half of the draw). ;)
