I was expecting the, ehem, new PBSI official to jump up and down, but he was quite cool from his seat. Excellent tactics from INA MD, adding to more grey hairs for Coach Kang.

Oh...I forgot about that! Indeed...they beat Boe/Mogensen 21-16, 21-15 at the French SS R32, only to lose to Hoon/Tan in the next round.
IMO, after the retirement/splitting of MD pairs after the London Olympics, there aren't many top class pairs left in this discipline. Hence, Lee/Ko haven't really met a pair that can challenge them. Today they met their match in this INA pair. What a performance by Setiawan/Ahsan, totally outclassed the Koreans!
The one featured on TV today is not a new coach. He's the current asssistant coach of MD, Endra Mulyajaya. He will be moving to WD after this tourney in the new coaching structure. Aryono will be moving to help Herry IP in MD.
if the scoreline is not tight like today, he will not be nervous If the scoreline is tight, he will rather not watch the match...hehehe....Send my regards to him!
Poor Sony. His smashes are coming back off a brick wall. LCW and his hideous shirt are all over Sony 9-2
Consistency....also depends on which year. I would say Hendra was very consistent before Kido's long layoff, in particular from 2006-2008! Very cool and seldom made mistakes. Only recently in the past 3 years (2010-2012) Hendra was beginning to be more error prone to complement Kido!
Congratulation Ahsan/Hendra! First SS title for Ahsan in his career, and First SS title for Indonesia this year
Although I am extremely happy for Hendra's comeback by winning a SS title today, it still remains to be seen if his partnership with Ahsan can reach the top 3! At the moment, they have beaten pairs like Lee/Ko and Bo/Mogensen but lost to lesser pairs like Hoon/Tan, Shin/Yoo, and Kim/Kim. More consistency is need and let's wait till the end of the year before I pass any judgement.
