How about seven hundred racquets a week? Assuming a seven-day working week, that's 100 every day. Assuming a ten-hour working day, that's 10 racquets an hour. (By the way, no machines... just humans.) That's six minutes to string a racquet, isn't it? Six minutes To eat crow, check this thread
lolz why not..I just string a little too many rackets @ work..around 15-20 a day..5 days a week or so..
lolz im sure those ones tht work in the factories string faster than me..cuz their life apparently depends on how mani rackets they can string a day or sth....but yeaa..u can't compare a China work force compared to a Canada work force..eventho i am Chinese..im still a lazy worker just like every other Canadian out there..
Is this the hole stringing time on a preweave racket then it could sound realistic. But never on a non preweaving ones.
The most time consuming thing is the 4-6 strings that have to b introduced in an otherwise already occupied grommet by the vertical strings.
lol.for me is 15min pre-string.20min tensioning.2 piece method.but i double or triple pull every string to account for the string stretch later on.
U are good, what I need is practice. This is a hobby along with playing but I have plans for the future. We already have our own private court.
The SS series should have a tournament for these. Keep the fans occupied. Just like the nba with the lakers girls. Maybe a lucky draw to let a fan play with Hwang or Reiko. Or string for them.
I do not know if this is the normal speed by stringers here in bc. But this speed is incredible! IF i can thread this fast on the crosses, i wouldnt want to preweave I think the stringer in the video did a loop to prevent tension lost on last string. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euSBZVcytbg&feature=related
Just strung a Powerplay9990 at 28lbs using the above method. Clocked, 57mins. Its either i go back to what i usually do, preweave, or just keep trying this method. Usually, including preweaving, i string the racket in average, 40mins.
that's incredible speed. she feed through a shared hole like they are nothing. i like the technique with the string puller. so fast. also like the way she pulls the rest of the string. V down/across the string bed. very little damage to the surface of the string.
When i was doing it, i experienced some trouble when feeding it through a grommet with my side support blocking it. Any idea how i can avoid that?
buy a ES5Pro. notice how the side support never protrude into the inner frame area? dang. 8min 30sec to string the cross. 6min 20 for the main. total time is less than 15mins and there are no short cut. even the main starting is done properly. *dream*
To think Iv just "improved" to 50mns and I'm on my 30th racket. Not only the weaving takes skill but one needs to be confident enough to be sure that the weave is right on each so that u don't hv to go back checking each single weave all the time.
