I just got a few in myself. Just finished stringing one at 25.....no problems here. I agree with Mark A. Easily will take low 30's

After over-grip and BG80 string....I measured the BP at 297. Not bad. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow night. I'll post some results of my playing with it.

:D Haha......recently, my current racquet has been the NEW 3U ArcSaber 11 I've had for 3 weeks now for doubles. Singles I use 4U Voltric Z Force.

I read through this thread and people are saying they have a balance point of 300mm+, yet Yonex rates this as a head light racket. Am i missing something, or does the balance point and head heaviness have no correlation.

for a good estimate of swing wt, you can use the product of bp and total wt of the racket, doesn't matter whether with grip and string or not

so with only 73g total wt, even 300mm bp is still head light in swing wt

check out my thread on head wt if you want to understand it some more

Today, I picked up my Arcsaber Flash Boost. Initial feel: what an incredible light racket! And the color is better than the pictures I saw before. First I expected a flashy racket, but the blue yellow color is not painted over with a shine lack. It's more the plastic shine/mat color. I have no doubt this racket will be an eye catcher.

First, I wanted to string it with the bg66u as a recommended string from Yonex, but I did not had any anymore. After reading some specs about my beloved nbg98, I decided to string it with nbg98 in yellow at 11 kg. For reference, it's also easy because all my Arcsabers have been strung with nbg98 at 11 kg, with a few exceptions.

    ARCFB01.jpg

First thing I noticed, is that the string pattern is not the same as the normal Arcsabers. The two lines on top are placed too high, and it reminded me about stringing the Arcsaber Z-Slash and I-slash. It was very narrow at the top. It's a very slim racket, and almost the same as the Arcsaber 2 Tour.

    ARCFB02.jpg

I also suspect that the head is more like the Arsaber I-Slash and Z-Slash, but I'm not sure. If I place the Arcsaber 2 Tour above each other, it's clearly that the frame of the Arcsaber FB is smaller:

    ARCFB03.jpg

    ARCFB04.jpg

The racket I have is a F-G4. The reason I put the Arcsaber 2 Tour against this racket, is because this is currently my lightest Arcsaber in weight and feel. Given the same string and grip, the ARC-FB is a lit head lighter than the Arcsaber 2 Tour. And the 2 Tour is the head lightest Arcsaber I have. Not sure about the exact balance point, but I measure the rackets I have as a complete racket.

The racket should be available next week over here. I can't wait to play with it this Sunday, which is my next opportunity to play with it.

Here's my review after one training session (3 hours) with ArcFB:

    Clears: 8.5/10
    Drops/Reverse (Slices): 10/10
    Drives: 10/10
    Smashes: 9/10
    Defense: 10/10

Surprisingly no mishits the first time I used it. Drives were just awesome! Defense excellent and really easy; I was able to defend smashes from players I normally could not. Net play very very nice, also for double motion deception. I faced no problems with sliced Drops.

    Awesome racket! :D

You're right, I think yellow strings complement the design very well. Besides yellow and white, which other colour do you think will match the racket? I see that you went with a neon colour grip, but I don't think any of the Yonex towel grips come in that colour. You got any suggestions on a towel grip that will complement the racket?

White or you could use Yonex Sax color towel grip.

I think Blue/Turquoise strings would fit the racket well :)

I believe many will find the racket to be special in it's own league, fun & interesting.
Been playing consistently with it for half a month and below are my personal rating for ARCFB.

    Clears : 8.5/10
    Defense : 9.5/10
    Net : 9.5/10
    Drives : 10/10
    Smashes : 9/10

Reason for lower score on clears & smashes are due to less swing weight.
Taking shuttles at a less idle position will result in short clears that drop one line before baseline or smashes power that loses it's oomph at flight's end.

Drives & net play is where ArcFB excel. Simply sweet ~
Defenses are good with high maneuverability and quick control.
Giving higher chances to cross court flick or turn around attack with cross court low drives.

Wouldn't blue/turquoise string better complement the sax colour grip?

I just found out that the towel grip also come in yellow. What do you think of yellow string(BG 80) and yellow towel grip?

I'm quite surprised with the relatively high scores in the smashes department given the weight of the racket. Does it cut through the air like the ARC-ZS series?
