Yes, the AUS one is probably an older model then as it had the old grip sizing…. so i guess they finished the carbon effect part with a matte finish then and changed it to a lacquered finish on newer models.
Cool, thanks for clearing that up for me.

The carbon effect finishing difference is due to production run change.
First batch of MX JJS has matte finishing while the later has some coating on it
I've seen both version for MYR code :) some believe the matte version is more rare hahaha

Just had my JJS back from the stringer, it looks evil and menacing with black string.

With 2 matches in the next 10 days I used BG80 this time as I know I can play with it. He's got my Arcsaber and putting the VS-850 on for me, if that's nice then it's next on my JJS.Once I get my machine, I'll start playing about with strings myself. A few of the Victor strings do come in black which looks good.

Rkep with bg80p coming soon... on a black racket with orange highlights. Going to split the haribito pattern into two piece to get the outer mains in orange. And maybe black for the top/bottom 4s as well as the mains.

BG80P was better on this racquet, BG80 feels too hard at the same tension.

Given that you seem to have similar preferences to me, I'm not surprised you felt the same about BG80 and BG80P. I much prefer BG80P over BG80. Can I also suggest trying NBG99 - more of a control/feel string than power, but has excellent tension hold. This is currently my go-to string for all my Victors and 8DX.

I think I'm going to try one of the victor strings on it next.

BG80 felt great on the 8DX. That may have been because the racquet was so dampened, BG80 felt good.

Nope. BS 12N. Pretty consistent for him I guess. He did use the BS 12 from 2011 until the Olympics.

Oh gosh my bad. I didn't read it properly. Many apologies T.T but yeah he's using the MX 90. But he did use the 80 for their game today.

Thanks god there are still players who are true to themselves and play with the racket suitable for their game play.

I put my respect to them who does not submit to vendor's instruction to play with new products. Though I understand that it may be difficult for them to resist, and caused disappointment to the vendor / sponsor.

    :D

    Gonna string my JJS w/ VS-850 black @ 26lbs.

Shouls i get BG80P Orange on this one instead?

*Note for VS-850* My usual tensions is 23lbs but gonna string it higher due to what you say...... high and easy tension loss

Im more of a technically aggresive player . What do you think?

    Thanks
