Ironic you mentioned the shoes... Panda needs to do a review on the newly released Mizuno Wave Tornado 5 (WT5). They are his new go to shoes. The WT5s are designed for volleyball but couple them with Super Feet Blue, they are first-rate if you need extra cushioning.

The main problem playing badminton with volleyball shoes is the forefoot area is too thick which results in too much flex and lateral transitioning is compromised. Volleyball players don't have this problem as they do not need to transition as fast. The WT5 still does not transition as well as the best badminton specific shoes (such as the SHB-100s) but it's still very good. And again, the cushioning is much superior. Will review later and update the shoe review. :)

That style of sole is not ideal as there isn't any re-inforcement under the ball of the foot which is key for the lunge foot.

Bonus they match the new T2 nicely, nice find. Still like my Asics gel blade 2 too much of course with superfeet blue :D to think of changing.

Wow! That's a bargain the Stick Man can't refuse :D. Wait! You also need a server room with fiber internet connectivity for the Silent One :D.

Update: after extensive testing, the manufacturer has gotten the finish correct.

The T2v2 (version 2) has an excellent paint finish in terms of durability. Panda had many people notoriously hard on rackets test the T2v2 extensively and the finish passed with flying colors. Panda is going to continue to use this new finish on all the rackets, it's among the best he's seen. :)
