^^ nah, just some dumb decision by their marketing dept to be avant garde with new matte finish and do away with the protective clear coat.

What visor said :) you could avoid this by shifting the racket down by 1 cm by adjusting the 12 and 6 o'clock mounting points or by moving the mounts closer together. I didn't bother because my set up is perfect and I'm not going to sacrifice the ideal mounting position to preserve a stupid sticker. Sucks that YY went this route, but if you're going to use the ZF in battles, it's not really even an issue because this racket dings your opponents ego much deeper than the sticker :p

Recently came across a 3UG4 Z-Force. Feels nice to play with so far, let's see if I come across some of the issues others have been complaining about.. The stickers are annoying for sure.

BP is 308 +/- 2 mm, not measured scientifically at all :p
    BG66U @ 24 lbs

I was surprised that I was having some shoulder pains for the first few weeks when using the VTZF especially since I was using a VT80. But finally the kinks were worked out...no more pain and I'm just loving the VTZF more.

Had my singles game last night against my friend. And I managed to hit the sweetspot on a smash. It blew the shuttle past my friend's defences. He was like..."Wow...where did that come from." :D

I like and respect Yonex because they've done so much for our game over the years. Still, there's no excuse for this. I'm really surprised Yonex has not taken steps to correct a glaring mistake. The VT-ZF is their current flagship model, the most expensive, and best racquet they have. And to allow racquets with shoddy, slapdash manufacturing to be shipped all over the world is really a huge blow to their credibility and PR. They shouldn't be taking their patrons for granted.

I'd have thought they would have issued some sort of notice or clarification about the peeling decals, or announced some correction for future batches; but nothing so far! :( Customers pay top dollar for a product and expect a proper, finished product - not something that sheds it's skin at the slightest touch! Come on, Ben Yoneyama and all you guys there at Yonex, surely you have more regard for your patrons than this!

The matte finish is a gamble if you put decals on it - now Yonex knows.

The stickers are annoying yes, but damage can be prevented... you just have to tell the stringer first to avoid placing the side clamps there.

Pretty sure they know now as I think the VT-ZF LTD is clear coated and not matte. Maybe the next batch will be clear coated with new colour design.

Strange they didn't test it enough before the commercial release... especially since it was the first matte product...

    you're most welcome guys :D

btw, after playing with both racquets for several weeks, I feel that VTZF Ltd is stiffer compared to VTZF regular.

Both original balance points (VTZF and VTZF Limited) are equal = 315 mm (unstrung / no overgrip)

    IMHO

finally! the perfect combination of my VTZF has been found! I've tried BG65, BG66, BG66UM, NBG98, BG80P, and finally, I strung it with NBG99~ and it's generates a powerful smash! strung it at 31lbs.
