You should add the AT 900.

Oh, well, since you got all those bags of Ashaway strings, I would assume you could probably get yourself an AT 900 too, lol.

To be honest i don't like the way you write the AT800def to have a low smash power when you actually get more power from it!!! than the Off!!!! this is why all the top international players don't play with the new AT900Power the catalogue may write it as Lin Dan but he uses AT 700 and Lee Chong Wei and Taufik uses the AT 900 Tech for more power

Acutally, I would have to agree with jsunsun regarding the low smashing power for the AT800DE.
I don't know what the pros use (nor really care cos they are just a different breed of weird humans) but the AT700 sure makes my birdie hit the floor much faster ;) In fact, I feel my old MP33 has more power than the AT800DE, though i must say the 800 has very good control (I feel obliged to say something nice about it cos I'm actually trying to sell it :p).

Dude, he actually mentioned that it was his opinion, perhaps his playing style is different from yours. It may be that the AT800 Off is too stiff for you to be able to utilise it to the full potential (i.e. flex the shaft enough for it to whip through the shuttle). I certainly don't like the AT800Off as its hard work playing with it, but I'm sure there's a lot of folks out there who love it to bits.

As for your comment regarding the AT900's, Pros would be able to generate sufficient power by themselves to be able to outsmash 95% (I'm guessing :p ) of us here with a crappy old steel racket! So I doubt that's the reason for LCW etc for choosing the AT900T. I think it would be a similar argument to why more pros prefer using the NS9000 S rather than the X. Perhaps a lower stiffness makes it less tiring to use or give better defense?

I always enjoy reading Dinkalots helpfull reviews and after all this Sotx-hype here I gave the D600 a try. I found out that I disagree with Dinkalots view, this racquet is not as good as reviewed. This review is all about power, but lacks touch and technique.

how can a racket have 'touch and technique'?

reviews are always nice, but rember 'different strokes for different folks'

to put that into perspective: I hit harder with my D500 than with the D600...just because the flex/weight suits my swing better...
specs and other peoples opinions can just get you so far, in the end it's about what you like...

EDIT: to add, being a specs-nerd myself... If you were using an at700 you might indeed find the racket different/not for you. The headweight is less, and the shaft is stiffer...does that make it a bad racket? for you, perhaps...generally: a definate no.

i was talking about the review and had the at900-advertising Power vs. Technique in mind (Dinkalot is "power" then, for sure). I´m not complaining about specs, to me the D600 simply feels dead. but maybe i´m a different folk.

    ohh I see,
well, Dinkalot lives in the US..where the AT's are "all" in 4U...the poor lad ;)
so my guess would be he'll not be too fond of them (being a 2U madman :p)
I'm curious when Holland catches up on the hype as well...haven't seen too many at900's here...

    Hi Dinkalot,

Why the rating for Yonex TH version is always lower than others??? Please explain clearly! "Pro"

This has been mentioned many times, but I guess I'll repeat again, the overall rating is lower for TH rackets because consistently, the build quality and durability is inferior to CH/JP/US coded rackets.

This has been my experience from purchasing over 50 TH coded rackets and comparing them to CN/JP/US coded rackets. And I've seen/experienced/tested another 100 or so more different SP, TH coded rackets.

If Yonex's warranty is not concern, get an SP coded racket from HK. That's seems to be the best value the money to quality ratio (as I see minimal differences between SP and CN/JP/US coded rackets). If warranty is a concern, buy from your country coded (assuming Yonex warranties it).

I only post what I've used for a period.( say more than 1 month ) First impression is not always trust-worthy.

I think vagpwner means a legend to indicate what your lettering means...
At first it appears S>A>B>C>D... but then the Net column sorta throws the theory off... A looks more like Average than a hi rating there...
