Oh? No wonder I didn't see any paint job on it! The frame has something written on it but I can't read it, it's all worn out.
Ultra Pro Review I had some time over the weekend to play with my Ultra pros and test them to the best of my ability with my brother and here's our opinion. We have 8 Upros and the specs are as followed. Specs: 82g-84g, BP299-301, Strung with ZM62 Platnium 25lbs. RKEP G09 ELite (pink) Overgrip over the orginal/plastic wrapper. For those who liked the other Ultra series, this is definityly worth the $$$ and maybe panda will produce version #4 with the extra dough he earns. This racket feels exceptional, must be because of the finish on the frame. Very solid when doing clears and smashes. Defense was alot better then the previous Ultra models but that's just because my other Ultras were about 87g vs 82g-84g weight difference. As a Comparision to the other PP rackets, this one is definitly the best racket. It excels in having the potential for a devastating smash, and with the your preferred specs and BP it could be an amazing racket to defend with. The Upro has become my singles, doubles and all around racket choice. I have cut off the strings and retired my Ultra 1,2 and Trinity 2's. Kept the Precision in service because it has an amazing swing speed and it's for one of those lazy days. Looking forward to the Trinity Pro and maybe Precision with the same frame finish.
Thanks for the review. We are hoping the finish (or therelackof) is the key. Agree; to date, it's the best overall Panda racket. But if the Trinity Pro is like the UPro, it'll have it's say. Panda also had another "Evil Empire" sponsored player try the UPro and he said, "Rackets with this much power never have good defense and yet this does. This racket is awesome!" He tested an ~85.0g, BP295. The TPro is in customs. Also have a new Precision Pro prototype coming with the TPros for testing. If it's what Panda's expects...
If I did ask my mom, she'll go to the nearest sport mart and spend the same amount of money on a unstrung yonex racket made for intermidiate players. But if I ask her to give me money to buy something it's more of an hassle.
Come on, find a job, and spend more money on great Panda stuff.... more the great one makes, more new exciting stuff he will develop... It is the same principle as the poor and the rich... the poor gets poorer by buying Panda's racquets, and the rich get richer... ;o), you should consider that as an investment, they are real pieces of art.
"Pro" versions of the racket = no decals/paint/graphics on the frame, only the raw marble finish with clear coat. The weight and BP maybe modified but it doesn't necessarily mean it will be. Going forward (currently): Ultra Pro: stay the same Trinity Pro: have to test, but should stay the same Precision Pro: shaft will move up to T2 stiffness (~8.3)
Good thing I have a few of the original Precision, but I will definitely welcome a slight shaft stiffness increase to up the power just a tad.
For you USAers: there was a mix-up/bad timing/confusion and Panda ordered too many 951W bags from a few different sources. By the time Panda cancelled, it was too late. Anyway, Panda has 5 or 6 extra Sunrise 951W bags coming in about a week. If anyone here is interested, please let Panda know. Will let you know the total price (bag price + shipping from SEAsia + shipping in the US) when all is said and done. Should be at least $20 less than if you purchased it direct, if you can even find it. The hard to get Yonex Sunrise 951W (approximate image): Hmmmm, maybe the first Panda bag will be similar to this, only wider.
Were they purchased for Panda bag analyzes???? Any idea of what Panda bag will look like, and what kind of graphics will be on it??? I am already having many questions on the Panda racquets, hope the bag will be distinguished.
the retail price is £65 o_0 will the price of panda bag around the same? or much cheaper? finished pre order Tpro with 85.5gr and 295mm hopefully it will come before 20th of Feb..
oh yeah.. everything in Japan is pretty expensive do you interested with panda power racket demolidor?
