How's the durability of the racket? According to spec, it's belong to FB technology, so the frame should be 60% thinner. Is it more fragile?
I have the 700FX and to me the 750 is leagues better. The balance of the racket helps create power easier in the rear court. Shots have more feel to them and are easier to control. Defense while returning smashes are easy to drive back low or lift it back cross court. Can't compare with an RP but maybe that'll help if you've played with an FX before. Clashed a few times and nothing major so far. Only a few nicks and paint chips. My FB is still going strong so I can't really say if it's more fragile than other rackets or not.
thanks for the input. So did you feel there's more weight on the 750 than 700FX? I thought the 750 is the most headlight racket made by yonex so far? i am confused.
I haven't played with my FX in over a year, but when I picked up the 750, it definitely felt like there was more weight in the head. The swing is not as light as the FX, it's fast but you can feel the head pulling the racket along. With rackets like the FX and FB, the swing feels fast due to the light weight of the head. If you've ever played with a NS7700, that's what the 750 feels like, except faster and better feeling. It's replaced the N7700 as my main racket. Both are very middle ground rackets and not very popular at all. They don't get the hype like the FB and Z Speeds got, but I play better with them than any of the other rackets I've tried. These really only cater to the few that like medium stiff, even balanced (a little towards head) rackets.
Just played a 3 hr game with my new toy NR750. I must say that this racket is really designed for lobs and attack clears. Repeated baseline to baseline lobbing is effortless. Although I don't feel that the smashes unleashed by this racket are very powerful, they are still very fast and can catch your opponents off guard. Net play is a little tricky as I think I need more time to get used to the flex of the shaft. Defence is great due to the lightness although the initial timing needs to be adjusted. Overall, I feel this is a great racket and is a much better one (at least for me) than NR800. Cheers.
I also played 3h with NR750. I have to say clear (even just with wrist) is big plus. With wrist clear power it allow us to play high clear in out of position. My recent playing rackets are NS3000 (4U), NZS (3U), NR700FX(4U) . My feel is it's lighter than all of them except same as 700FX. NR750 agility is the best. If your wrist is strong, then it is very good racket for you. Personally, I believe a 3UG5 version is best for me, however, I am very content with 4UG4 also. For people who tend to use more shoulder and arm power, then it may disappoints you.
I noticed that too. When I try to smash with pronation, it didn't feel as good as with wrist power. I think the flexibility holds the bird too long so the shot is not as crisp and is harder to control. I need to work on it some more to make sure it's not just my technique since I usually smash using wrist from top down for more angle.
I realised that with quick wrist action, the smashes of the NR750 can indeed be quite potent. Can anyone enlighten why is that so especially when this is advertised by YY as superheadlight?
It has a unique transweight system That's the trick did the power clear job boosted by Yonex. However, I did not know how the transweight works.
Quick update. Been working on finding the right touch for drops with this racket so I can control it better. It's much better now that I know how much power to use so they don't go too high and crosses usually don't go out anymore. I could still use some more work on tumbling the bird though.
If you want a racket that is stiff like mountains , see Nanospeed 9000 X , if you want less stiffer than this (But still very stiff) . Try Nanoray 800 . NR750 is a little bit flexier than the 800

How stiff is this racket? I know someone said "it's a bit flexier then the 800". Just tried out the VT-70 just to test yonex's medium stiff rating and found it a bit too flexy for me and could definitely feel it on the smash. Just wondering /shrug.
