Glad to know! Damn, there seriously are too many fake racquets around..

I stared at this Armortec for ages and it never occurred to me that it could be fake. The paint job was well-done. A Super A Grade Fake racquet lol. They even have the PBSI engraved, but lacked the Yonex sticker (which I figured could've possibly been taken out by his uncle) It wasn't until I looked at the serial number that the idea donned on me that it was, inevitably, fake.

So sad these days how many fake products are out there :(

there are many fake Yonex out there so us, as buyer we need to be smart
the easiest way to know if it's fake or not is from the shaft serial and cone code (without seeing the racket by ourselves we can determine if it is fake or not)

if you don't know how to verify it, you can post it here (or on buying enquiries thread) first
if you still not convinced take some photos of the racket (the frame, the T-joint, shaft serial and cone code, the butt cap, and the bag). upload it on internet and show us. most likely we can help you to determine whether it is fake or not

Yes that one is a fake one [IMG]. A little optimistic to think Voltric 80's are available for $49 ;)
The bag looks so poor is clue number 1 and is not the one supplied with rackets for the Japanese market (well number 2 really, clue number 1 being the price and the source). The shaft serial is also far too old for this model and cone code ...

Yep, seems I forgot to multiquote it. Already have it in the list, should be fine [IMG].

Based on their shaft-cone number combination these should be just fine as well [IMG]. Lotsa "friends" with JP rackets these days :D ...

Side note, both had SUNRISE sticker on it which were pretty hard peel off. I had to remove it in order to read the cone code. Thanks in advance.

wow, no need to peel off the sticker. MBS is a perfectly legit seller (Kwun, admin of this site met the owner of MBS before)
based on cone code and shaft serial it should be fine too.

Oh noes.. My 'friend' was saying it fake.. So I removed the SUNRISE sticker because they were covering the cone shaft serial to post it on here.. I was quite offended by my friend. Because I've bought from MBS before previously.. I have insecurity issues.. =(.. And now that I removed it there some glue left and makes both rackets look ugly.. They're both gifts too, so I feel like a complete jerk to ask them how much the rackets costs..

I just started badminton not long ago and so I trusted this person a lot. Sorry for my life story.. Anyways, thank you so much for confirming my rackets Avenger. Next time I buy from there I can just ignore him. Thanks again.
