A humble presentation... of my duo, Protech Armortec 700 Limited (1x strung YY BG66 @ 28lbs, 1x unstrung - both brand new). Showing 6 photos taken by me. Enjoy! :)

Both are very powerful racquet, but the Armortec is good for smashing particularly, pity it's very hard to get due to end of production by Protech.

Anyway, here is the Protech Nano Power 990 of mine of another humble presentation. 6 photos taken by me (strung with YY BG66 @ 28lbs once again). Enjoy!

    great shots senna.
judging from the tarmac in the pics, you stay in a nice gated community?

LOL... those aren't tarmac, mate. Imagine, I wouldn't risk scratching my dear racquets on a tarmac surface for photo shoot.
Simple, that surface was just an oversize-square black sponge sheet.

Oh, and soon I might present my solar system Protech of Mercury, Neptune, Jupiter and Saturn. Lastly it will be both Blue Monster and Strike 900.

That's all I have, thanks for the compliment and I do hope you did enjoy it. By the way, have you got yourself your desired racquet yet? :)

    Hi there again!
LOL. My words, are tempting eh?
Well, suddenly I have the thirst and hunger for the Protech PowerSaber 10 (lookalike of ArcSaber 10)
Someone has posted on BC before, showing his photos:

    Sadly I couldn't find it anywhere. :'(
I would love to get it, but wonder if anyone can help to provide some store names in PJ/KL area.
Have you tried seeking around for the Armortec 700 Limited?

Oh? Don't get you. What do you mean by 'no wonder it's called Limited'?
Haha. Do you mean that because it's hard to find, so it is known as Limited? LOL
I suppose the older batch of Protech racquets are getting into extinction. Sadly, but true.
For example, I'm trying so freaking hard to get the PowerSaber 10 which I am currently craving after!

Somehow I have tried to contact with the Protech HQ at Shah Alam and they kept advertising their solar system series to me.
Upset, somehow I have consistently informing them - I HAVE ALREADY ACQUIRED ALMOST ALL OF YOUR LATEST RACQUETS FROM MERCURY TO NEPTUNE!
It is a pity that their customer care and support wasn't to the expected standards. Good grief I'm only into their products and not their management.

Maybe you should try to check at some stores, some hands-on feel will be better. :)

    Protech Mars

Mars more like full metal color with less decorative which i like it. 83g ? i not sure abt it but it is the lightness i like abt it. I've used Charger, Jupiter, Classic Master and Mars. Earth, Neptune and Mercury feeling not like Mars at all. I will be adding another Mars also doubt AJ having any stocks left. Anyway i strung my Mars with BG66 @ 26lbs

It is great that you have found a racquet which suits you. AJ, as in AJ Puchong? Well, I have seen quite many units of Mars left at a shop nearby my house.

Currently am in love with both Armortec 700 Limited and Nano Power 990. One for the offensive use and the latter for the defensive use.

Sticking to 28lbs for all my current strung racquets and am soon going for higher tension as I have found the sweet spot with 28lbs.

It seems that Protech will be releasing new racquet models soon, I have just seen the 3rd generation of Protech Viper, dubbed Protech Viper 3 in black base with green patterns.

If you are from where I am, the cheapest of a decent Protech racquet would be around RM150, equivalent to USD46/EUR37/GBP30 whichever applies.

I added a phone battery wire that i previously cut in order to tape it around my racquet head. The aim was of course to get an extra repulsion since i cant play with my right hand bcuz of a wrist pain. You know what ? it sucks ! xD
My clears were actually worse (great net play & retrieving, as usual though). My tape is a vulgar one, hump dents(no aerodynamics, air passing through tape holes), in the end the racquet(musclepower 50 LOL) weighted like 150gms, just enought to give me a tennis elbow(though i cant smash or clear with my left arm, no big vibration).

My new strategy is to add thin carbon wire, then covering it with tape. It would be like a doped racquet, i dont even know if it's allowed. I guess i'm both a creative person & a cheater in order to cope with my lack of technique (my first year with this sport).
I'll add a picture (only if ppl ask me to, just to laugh a little)

actualy,if you can't get lead tape or atheletic tape, just add like i do.

go to a pharmacy and get 'dressing' tape. the ones they used to cover up wounds.. they also have the 'slim' type, about 10mm or so in width..

i added about 5 cm x 2 ply on each side at the very top and it makes the head heavier and smashes a little more powerful.

The best bit about new series is, that the specs look identical on paper for the whole line :D
