I have a backyard badminton set. Cost around 20 dollars on sale, comes with 4 racquets. One panda racquet could get me about 6 back yard games going
staiger, I would agree.... but the poster makes a confrontational comment. Either he is a aware of this, and is trolling..... or he is totally without knowledge of the subject he is talking about (i.e. dumb). People should remember to only comment on subjects they know 'something' about. I don't think he's new to the forum and just look at his forum name for an indication of his views /
it not comment. it call simple question. i never hear about this brand before. i ask simple question. you need apologize to me for call me dumb.
His idea of a good racket is the most expensive means the best... Doubt he has even hit with the N90.
Panda T2 review Here is my review of the Panda T2 User: Guava Wang- Aka: Skill-Lvl: S(Sandbager), D Player..with A player shots (per Panda) • My go-to rackets were: Ynx Cab 30, Zelm 9900, Woven 11, 13, Apacs Furious 767, T1 (for the last 2 years) • Old Skool Single player. Which means Old Aero head type Rackets preferred. Now! Onto the T2 spec comparisons: 1. Head Speed: Compare to the T1: The T2 Head Speed is like Panda on Steroid!!!..Okay..most of you won't get that. Let’s just say that there are No production rackets like it!! 2. Swing Speed/ Shaft Flex: I have been using T1 for a long period now, and I love the swing speed on the T1, But the T2. is Surreal!!! • Lighter swing speed means, you can generate 30% faster swing speed. • T2 Flexible Shaft means, you can Generate 30% more Speed X Weight on Impact. 3. Material and paint Quality: • The material use on the racket is excellent, much better than Yonex in comparable racket types. • Racket stability is far better than any of the rackets I have used (and I used a lot of them, thanks to Panda) • Racket Design and concepts are Excellent. • Paint job needs work. Enough of the specs, onto the playabilities: 1. Offensive response of the T2: a. Pin point accuracy b. Snap HAPPY Racket c. 30+% harder smashes 2. Defensive response of the T2: a. Repulsive with less compensation b. Higher head speed for even better counter-attack control c. 30% higher maneuverability/ transition then comparing to the T1 Conclusion: 1. Like some of the people who review the rackets, I can confirm most and all of their reviews to be true reflection of the T2 performance. 2. You really need to find the time to test this racket for yourself. 3. For Panda who eats Bamboo for a living, and create a better racket then any of the main stream manufactures. I must give him Credit when credit is DUE.(I offer you HERO Status) on the creation of the T2.
I know it's new and improved and all that, but (only) 30%? Where and how did you arrive at that number?
keep using it! (Visor) keep using it! and you will find out the true potential of the T2. I have been using the T2 for about a month now. once, you break it in, and getting use to the speed. then you will understand why.
Yeah, that increase speed needs a little bit of time to adjust to, but it's all good. Now I have more time to think of shot placement and time to play delayed/deceptive shots. However, overhead smashes still need more time to adjust. I have to tell myself constantly to start my swing a tad later, otherwise I'd frame it!
would you say the transition from an Arc Z could possibly be easier since it has a fast swing speed too?
Most likely, it will be much easier, yes. I'm trying to remember my experience with a friend's Arc Z from a month ago. It was only for 5-10 mins of rallying around. I measured the bp to be 293 mm with strings and 102EX overgrip. If memory serves me correctly, the Z felt slightly more head heavier than the T2, so the swing speed seemed even a tad slower than the T2, if that's possible! (Head speed most likely faster, due to longer shaft.) The Z was also stiffer than the T2, so required more strength to flex the shaft. Defence-wise though: T2>Z most definitely.
hmm what you say is correct. the specs of my arc z is even exactly the same as your friends even. so the T2 that i've ordered, though not identical, is pretty similar at 85g at BP290. hopefully, i wont have a problem switching between the two. cheers
85g will feel even lighter and faster, so it'll swing slightly faster than your Z, though you shouldn't have much trouble adjusting. When you receive it, it would be interesting for you to review the T2 compared to your Z and Tantrum 200.
Hmm not really. my Arc Z atm weighs about 95-96g, assuming grip and string weights between 10-11g (which I have weight them separately) it would work out to be about the same = 85g. But the arc Z would have a slightly heavier head. But of course, I'm sure 1-3mm shouldnt make much difference (I hope not haha). Yes, I can't wait either. However, it'll be hard to compare between the rackets I have. Firstly, the T2 will be coming with Ashaway strings as the Panda distributor insists on them. I think I'll be getting the 0.67 ones as I don't think I'll like the idea of 0.62. As for the Tantrum 200, the one I have unfortunately is a 4U version which is obviously bit lighter. The seller (racquet sports) didn't tell me he was sending a 4U. If I knew, I would have insisted on a 3U. Plus I haven't really had much court time with the Tantrum 200 either.
