When WZM got it all wrong in G2, I thought he would lose G3 and the match. But somehow he set it right in G3 for a runaway victory.

Kudos to WSX for beating Porntip so convincingly - she played the best I've seen her play in a long time. I'll still be shocked if she beats LXR tomorrow, but I certainly won't mind if she does - Li is very mercenary-like and isn't my favourite at all. Speaking of Li, how disappointing it was to see Han Li play her today with a total lack of effort on Han's part especially in the latter half of the 2nd game when she was leading - I had flashbacks of WYH from yesterday. Really pulling for the Malaysian pair and WZM tomorrow - I'd like to see some new faces as the winners, please!
I gather that Wang Zhengming is eager to win and at the same time anxious to prove himself by winning this tournament. I'm pretty sure he will go all out to try and wrest the trophy from the defending champion Chen Long tomorrow. We are in for a treat. The same for the WS final where LXR whom I still consider to be the undisputed world no.1 will be up against the resurgent WSX whose new-found confidence and inner belief has translated into some spectacular, awe-inspiring victories over IR and others the last one month forcing many of us to look at her differently now. What's more, it a clash of contrasting styles - the aggressive attacking 'masculine' game of LXR vs the skillful, deceptive and manoeuvring stroke play of WSX. I'm looking forward to both of them and,not forgetting, to see if MAS Hoon/Tan can continue their dream run to deny the highly-fancied KOR LYD/YYS and be crowned MD champion.
they just remind me of the Chinese MD LXL/QZH early this year... let's see if they could sustain the performance for long....
My personal predictions for today: LYD/YYS (as much as I want HTH/TWK to win, I think LYD/YYS have more experience at that level) LXR (I think it will be a 3-set affair with the way WSX has been playing but LXR has that edge over her) YY/WXL (in 2 sets. Unless they have some of that tanking [flashback to OG2012], YY/WXL are a no-nonsense pair and will get the job done swiftly) CL (a bit of an uneven match-up here, CL is better in almost every department) JFN/CP (they've got a good record against TA/LN. May go to 3-sets too depending how smart TA plays)
FINALS (01.00pm) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...AE00A2-31D9-46DA-A00A-01AC559AEC7A&d=20131117 The organizer arranges two interesting clashes who don't involve home shuttlers in first and last match of today's final. Both KOR and MAS MD knocked out top and second seed respectively in first round and these giant killers face each other on finale, what an unpredictable result. While DEN and INA XD have been given walkover by home faves, Zhang/Zhao and Xu/Ma in semifinal and quarterfinal round respectively, it will be tough match for Towi/Liliyana as Fischer/Pedersen won last three meetings. Three titles for the host through all CHN affairs in MS, WS, WD, who will win? On paper it should be Chen L, Li XR and Wang/Yu but on fire Wang SX may upset the Olympic Champion.
I am rooting for Hoon/Tan.. thought they really played well this tournament.. should let them win the Osim chair
no china players in this md final, so they use international umpire and service judge? hahahaha. if there are china players, maybe they will use chinese umpire and service judge. hahahaha. pity markis and markus. hahahaha.
