Just curious, what would CJ need to overtake CL as #3 seed?

Did you guys see Peter Gade's facebook messages about his ankle injury?
He wrote that he requires an operation to cure an ankle problem but decided to delay it after the Olympics.
Anyway, Peter seems to train very hard and will compete in the European championships.
How do you think it affects Chen Jin's qualification for the Olympics?
I wish that both players will participate in the London Olympics with good forms.

Chen Jin is on his way to win Australia open. However, he should be very careful with Tien Minh so that he didn't get tripped. On paper if Chen Jin play his usual game he should take this game and extra 950 points. I wish he can make it.

the winning, if he wins tomorrow at the Australia is not as much impact as people think.
that's all depends on how P Gade perform at the EC, and if he will play at the India or not.
if PG wins the EC as his seeding suggested, Chen Jin needs to beat him at the India to qualify for 2012 London even if CJ got the Australia and the BAC titles.

only if PG perform badly, lost in the SF at the EC say, and CJ win the BAC as well as the Aussie than he can afford to lose to PG in India and still qualify.

Yes. I think it depends on PG injury. If it has recovered CJ has low chance to qualify, if it is troubling him it is unlikely he can stop CJ qualify as he , may not win EC and probably wou
Dnt be able to go to india the week after.

I don't think Peter Gade will go to India, for him there isn't really much point in going especially as he is injured.

Chen Jin looks mentally and physically stronger than before, but it's not his top form yet.
    Good luck for tomorrow.

Peter 's form is much below his baseline. I doubt that Peter Gade will recover in time to beat JOJ and HKV. Both JOJ and HKV are fighting for the second spot for London themselves so I don't they will do Peter a favour at the moment. Personally I think the best Peter Gade can achieve is getting into the final at EC if he is able to avoid one of them in the semifinal.

The chance of chen Jin at BAC will depend on the draw. The worst draw is to meet LCW at semifinal.

PG has a very good draw he is virtually guaranteed a SF spot and then he meets HKV in the SF

Thanks for information. In that case, it will be good if Chen Jin can avoid Sho Sosaki in the semi final.
I found Peter is likely to meet HKV in the semi final. I think P G stand no chance unless HKV is instructed to loss by their big boss which is quite unlikely. HKV needs this title badly to have a chance to overcome JOJ.

Thanks. I just have a look the draw and found that Sho Sosaki, K T and LHI are not coming for BAC. I think the chance for CJ to get the BAC title is bigger than PG to get EC title. TH will meet Lin Dan at the quarter final. So I think LD will play well to get into semifinal and have a "good fight" at semifinal but then loss to CJ.

Both depends on whether HKV can overcome Viktor at the quarter final stage, which I think he will:) I wonder if Gade will turn up, he has a 100% record throughout his career at the EC, so I wonder if he'll not go and protect that achievement... His Olympic spot is secure anyway...
