15 titles? is that including AE?

if so, LCW should have 2!

Hahaha, can you imagine when both decides to retire, after next year's 2012 or WC 2013(for LCW), how 'boring' it would be in MS dept?
By then, Taufik, PG would have retire too.
I mean, not as interesting to discuss Chen Long, Simon S, Tago, .... we have to wait for next batch, like young Victor Axelson to move up the ranks.;)

Ok, here is over, all China vs CHina, off to Msia IC thread

I'm pretty sure China will come up with a new batch of MS singles. Look at their WS reserve.

    1) Currently, I dont find any of them interesting- from Chen Long, Du PY to Wang ZM, etc. Perhaps Tian HW, the 2009 WJC. It's not about strong or not strong, the next generation/era players will not be of same calibre.
    2) There are few from other countries which post strong challenge to China in MS next few years, so rather boring to watch. For WS there are young challengers from Thailand.

Could someone explain me why FHF and CY aren't playing semi-finals? I already checked tournamentsoftware.com but I can't see a match which they have lost? So I don't get it? :-S

The sport has become faster and faster. Most players' games are very physical and rely on aggresive attacks. LCW's play style has also been into such a direction, which makes his games, to me, not as enjoyable as they used to be. BCL has left. TH is fading away. The only player that remains with super techniques, in my opinion, is Lin Dan.

Tomorrow'd MS (and WS too), I venture to say I won't see Li YB's hand in it. Both Lin Dan and Chen Long will tell LYB to hands off and leave it to them to settle it:D
